The moment that you closed the door behind you, you sat down weakly, leaning against it and breaking down into tears. 

You cannot hold them back any longer. 

You felt used... You felt betrayed despite the fact that Haewon never mentioned that she was into girls in general. When you come to think of it, she was partially responsible for putting you into this situation. After all, she was leading you on.

You knew that because Haewon does not treat anyone else the way that she treats you. You can definitely tell that from the way that other people were seeing the two of you. The girls of NMIXX weren't the first ones to take notice of you and Haewon, but they are the most credible. So, that gave you hope. 

She was also flirting with you with all the romantic and sexual innuendos along with her touchiness. You don't usually dwell on one's gestures towards you, but you couldn't help it when it comes to Haewon. For you, someone who only sees you as a friend wouldn't be caressing your thigh a lot — you know that area is not generally touched by anyone. What she was doing wasn't a simple touch either. It seemed to you that she was hinting at something else.

These are the reasons why you were feeling used and betrayed. It is nearly impossible for anyone not to assume something from all that she was doing.

Why did she have to do all that if she wasn't interested in me? Were they all for her own gratification? Does it feed her ego whenever she gets me flustered?

Those questions rush in your mind. 

Whatever the answer to those questions though, it would not change the fact that the two of you will never be something more, so you need to get out of this. You need to stop seeing her or spending time just by yourselves. Otherwise, you would not be able to get over her.

You were pulled away from your train of thought when you heard someone knocking against the door, calling out for you.

"Y/N? Are you okay right there? We are getting worried about you..." 

It was Bae. You quickly got up.

"Yes, I'm okay. I'm coming out in a while." 

You could just sigh in relief for being able to say those words without stuttering. 

"That's a relief, but I will wait for you here... Just to be sure. Let's go back to the living room together." 

You could just cuss underneath your breath, knowing how puffy your eyes would look after all that crying. Then, you made your way towards the sink and washed your face, desperately trying to cool your eyelids to reduce their swelling. 

When you feel like that you look convincing enough, you open the door and smile sheepishly. 

"I apologize for making you worried. I just didn't expect that much from the call of mother nature." You lied, scratching the back of your neck. 

However, Bae knew you better than that. She was looking you in the eye. Although your bond with all the girls of NMIXX is really strong, you could say that it is her whom you can refer as your close friend aside from Haewon in the said group.

"You do see Haewon more than a friend, don't you? That is why you had to excuse yourself earlier, so that you could cry your heart out." 

Your eyes widened as you were taken aback from hearing these from Bae. Then, she looked down.
