Author's Note:

I attached the song to the media again since upon writing this down, I thought that it would be better to listen to it as you go over this instead of the first part. This doesn't end here yet. I'm still figuring out how to end this.

_____

The two of you went to your studio. Yes, you have a studio. It isn't that massive compared to others, but it housed your necessities as a composer.

It has been a while since the two of you went here together. It brings back memories such as when you made her listen to the tracks that you've made for her, she would look at you with her sparkling eyes and a wide smile as she listened to it and once she was through with it, she would lean in for a kiss to express the gratefulness and the love that she had for you which she couldn't put into words.

Another is when the two of you would just jam with your acoustic guitars and sing your hearts out while seated on the couch in your studio.

Gosh, I'm pathetic.

You thought to yourself as those memories invaded your mind as you stood before the door of your studio. You shook your head before you finally turned the knob open and stepped aside, letting Haewon in first.

You noticed that Haewon looked around before settling down on the couch. "It still looks the same despite the years that have passed. There were minimal changes in here apart from the obvious upgrade of some of the equipment, huh? For the most part, you kept it as it is."

You put your things down, initially humming in response before you mindlessly spoke. "It's because I treasure the memories that they hold."

Then, your eyes widened upon realizing what you've said. Haewon had the same reaction, trying to figure out if she was just hearing things or if it actually happened.

"What did you say?" She questioned, seeking for clarification.

"I-I mean, it's because I don't see the need for replacement. They're still in good condition." You cleared your throat afterwards, sitting down on the swivel chair in front of your workstation. Before you turned to face her, you built up your composure and tried to look as professional as you could.

It wasn't an easy task to do. You held eye contact with Haewon for a few moments. Eventually, you broke it and took your phone out, searching for the lyrics of 'Error' in your browser.

"So, we should go over the first verse, pre-chorus, and chorus. Then, we must be able to move to the bridge smoothly. After that, we would be going over the last chorus, and of course, the post-chorus." You mumbled with your eyes fixed on the screen of your phone, scanning the lyrics and trying to recall how they were sung. "This would be tough, considering that they were transitioning rapidly from one member to another, but..."

"I believe that it is you who would be able to pull off Leo-sunbaenim's parts the best. I don't know, it just suits you." You commented, averting your gaze from the screen of your phone to Haewon's eyes.

It was a lie that you didn't know why it suits Haewon. The lyrics that were given to Leo, especially in the first chorus, you knew that Haewon could better relate to it. As for the rest of the lyrics, you're certain that it is you who can relate the most.

'Cause for real, you thought that you've moved on... oh, well, until you saw her again. You were back to square one.

Haewon was actually caught off guard by the change in your demeanor. The switch up from you being timid around her to you being professional. It was attractive. Memories flood up into Haewon's mind as she can recall that she had always admired you for your duality back when you were training together.
