Bikers around the territory have been on edge since the famous stolen SUV came back. Jax hadn't told anyone why he was so eager to know where it was. Ryker almost exploded in anger when Jax poked him as he tracked down the car and Jax had almost attacked him in irritation. Everyone knew it was Evelyn in the car but not why she took it. Jeremiah was dying to know what was going on but Jax refused to say anything, he had just been staring at the computer and the GPS showing where the car was.

Jeremiah was cleaning the dinner table as he was thinking about the happenings the day before. Evelyn had been gone for hours before sneaking into the house thinking no one knew she was there. The wooden table under Jeremiah's towel was almost shining after how much he was cleaning it but he needed something to do with his hands right now. The air was full of tension waiting for something to happen.

With a sigh, he moved away from the table to continue cleaning the kitchen. He had always something on the stove cooking as he was getting the kitchen ready for the big dinner he was gonna make. The sky outside was full of clouds as the snow fell down making it almost impossible to see anything. When he felt like he was done he made his way over to the stove where his second soup for the week was cooking. With quick movements, he tastes it with a clean spoon before throwing it into the sink. With the criticism, he always had when cooking he taste it looking for anything to approve.

"A bit more salt" he mumbled to himself as he reached for the bottle of salt. After some fast shakes, he put it away and whisk the soup. The biker turned around to continue his cleaning but almost jumped out of his skin when a shadow passed him.

"For God's sake," he growled as he saw one of Gunner's dogs look up at him. Jeremiah knew that the rest of the group must be around.

"Did he scare you?" Gunner said when he came in with Athena, Wyatt, Maddox, and the two remaining dogs. The group was smirking at the biker by the stove and Jeremiah couldn't help but give them a sarcastic smile.

"Well I'm not always ready for a dog to stand behind me," J said and turned back to his stove to find something to do with the soup.

"Everyone can't be as observant as the two of you," Wyatt said pointing to the couple. Jeremiah couldn't help but smirk as he thought about the pair's quality of observing everything around them.

"Everyone can't be as perfect as us" Athena fired back and Jeremiah could hear the grin on her lips. Maddox gave up a groan making J chuckle as he knew it was his way of dismissing the statement without saying anything. Maddox wasn't the one to talk a lot and based on his PDSD Jeremiah knew he had a hard time around people. It was a reason why he was seen as the killer of the group, he was simply the hitman of the mc together with Gunner.

"How is lunch going?" Wyatt said as he moved closer to the stove. Jeremiah didn't even look at the man before tensing up.

"Dare touch my food with your filthy hands and I will send Maddox on you," Jeremiah told him coldly as he continue to taste his creation.
