A New Feeling

**Chapter16**

**Maya**

When I sent the message to Carina, it was 2 p.m. 
Now it's 6pm and no answer. 
I think I lost her before I found her. 
I was sitting at home on my couch watching a series just to get my mind off things. 
But it didn't help. 
I had to think about her all the time. 
I felt drained, weak and desperate. 
So I took a shower and tried to wash away my feelings. 
I know it won't help but every glimmer of hope would help me. 
After a long shower I went to my bedroom and got dressed.  There was a shirt in the corner, I picked it up and Carina's scent caught my nose. 
I took it in my hand and smelled the shirt. 
Tears welled up in my eyes right away. 
Maya what's the matter with you you've never had such feelings and not constant. 
It hurts.  It hurts. 
And then there was a knock at my door. 
I wiped away my tears and went to the door and opened it.  And then there she was.

,,Carina".  Is what Maya said. 
Maya stood in front of me with red eyes. 
Did she cry ?
Ok, that's the sign that she doesn't want us. 
,,Maya, may I come in? "
,,Sure, excuse me please come in Carina. "
Do you want something to drink? 
No thanks. 
So you want to talk?  I'm here so let's talk. 
Please sit down . 
I sat down on the couch far enough away from Maya. 
I can't feel her closeness without wanting to hug her directly or kiss her. 
Maya please speak so that it ends quickly. 
Carina what are you talking about? 
I know where this is going, Maya. 
You'll tell me right away how nice everything was and that I'm a nice and perfect woman. 
What we had was beautiful and you enjoyed it and what happened isn't my fault, right? 
But if you tell me that please look into my eyes so I know it's the truth. 
As I spoke to Maya, I felt my tears coming back. 
But I didn't care at the moment because they are tears of truth, tears that I just can't control.

Carina, look at me. 
I scooted closer to her.  I wanted to feel her closeness. 
Why does she think I want to end this with us. 
I just want to talk to her .

I took my hand and lifted her chin so she could look into my eyes.
Carina, what are you talking about? 
Yes you are a wonderful person the most wonderful I have ever met. 
And shall I tell you something, I would like to get to know you even better. 
I want this with us. 
I know I said I have the third date rule, but I want it all with you. 
I know I'm not easy and I'm a mess. 
My life is a mess but I want to spend the mess with you. 
If you can deal with me and my chaotic life. 
I stroked her cheek over and over again. 
So if you're ready, so am I. 
Carina DeLuca would you do me the honor and be my girlfriend? 
I thought you'd end this with me. 
I always assumed I wanted to end this with us. 
How stupid i am .
Hey, hey please don't say something like that. 
You, Carina are the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life.
So would you do me the honor and be my girlfriend? 
She looked at me and placed both of her hands on my cheeks and kissed me. 
Yes Maya, yes I want to be your girlfriend. 
And we kissed.  Our tongues played in the same rhythm. 
It just feels so right. 
After the air was a bit scarce, we broke our kiss. 
You are the best thing that could have happened to me.  Will you stay with me today? 
I would love to .  Come along. 
I held out my hand and she took it and we walked into my bedroom. 
Here's a shirt for you to sleep on. 
We changed and went to bed. 
Come here I want you in my arms. 
I want you very close to me. 
She came closer and wrapped herself in my arms and I played with her hair. 
I love her hair. 
I'm so happy to fall asleep and wake up with you right now.  She looked at me gave me a kiss and said: Good night, Bambina. 
And we fell asleep together.
