The story of how Lavender Gracia Collins Hernandez meets William Vincent Araneta Marcos in Singapore

LAVENDER'S POV

" anak mag ingat ka dun sa trabaho mo sa Singapore ha ? " Sabi ni mama, I nodded my head as I give her my one last hug.

" Opo mama... Mag ingat kayo dito ha ? Tsaka yung gamot mo, dapat mo inumin. " I reminded her, she laughed and patted my back. " Masusunod anak. Oh siya siya.... Baka malate ka pa sa flight mo. Mahal na mahal kita anak. Loic, anak ang ate Gracia mo aalis na! " Sabi ni mama tsaka hinalikan ang noo ko.

We both pulled away from the hug and I turned towards my brother, who was just silently watching us. I slowly walked towards him and hugged my little brother, Loic Collins Hernandez.

" Mag ingat ka, Loic. Alagaan mo si mama ha ? Tsaka yung pag aaral mo, study well bunso. Mamimiss kanang ate. I love you. " I said to my brother, I felt him tightens his hug around me. " Pag butihin ko pag aaral ko ate, mag ingat ka dun ha ? " He said and I patted his back and kisses his forehead one last time.

We pulled away and I gave mom a kiss, and walked to the taxi that's will be taking me to the airport, when I was now inside, the driver then started and drove away, I looked at the back and saw my mother and brother looking at me one last time, I tear then escaped from my eyes.

VINNY'S POV

" Hey, Vinny. How's Australia so far ? " Kuya Sands ask in the video call, I just shrugged my shoulders in reply. Kuya Simon then came in the view.

" Baka party lang inatupag mo diyan ha, after that Russian girl left you. " He said as he crossed his arms. " I've moved on from her na kuya. And busy lang ako these past few days that's why di ko na kayo na tawagan these days. Kumusta na pala sila mom and pops ? " I asked them as I sipped my can of beer.

" Hmmm. Mom and pops are fine here naman in the Philippines. There doing fine lalo na si dad. " Kuya Sandro answers and I hummed. " Eh ikaw kuya kumusta being a congressman in Ilocos Norte ? "

" Tiring but I'm still glad to serve for them. Tsaka si Gov. Matt is always there to help me naman " He answered and drink his beer too, I then looked at kuya Simon who was just at his back. " Eh ikaw Kuya Simon ? "

" Same old lang. " He replied shortly and I just nodded my head as silence invades us.

" Vinny are you really sure your alright ? " Kuya Simon asked, I glanced at him and just drank my beer and gave them a smile.

" Hmmmm....may sakit parin, pero I'm coping up and I just concentrate myself here sa work ko rather than staying here sa condo nagmokmok. " I answered, I heard them both sighed.

" Kailan ka uuwi dito sa pilipinas Vin ? " Kuya Sands asked, I bit my lip and took a sip with my beer. " I have no exact day pa kuya eh, I'm a bit busy pa kasi sa pag asikaso sa mga papeles dito. Sige na mga Kuya, I'll end this call na, may gagawin pa ako eh. Ingat kayo diyan. Bye. " I said and end the call without waiting for their reply. I then stood up and walked towards the balcony which was overlooking the view of Singapore.

I took a deep breath and hold the can of my beer tightly. " Till we never meet again, Divina. " I said and finished my drink and walked back inside to the room to finish my task.

LAVENDER'S POV

" Hay salamat, naman at day off ko na. Makapag pahinga na din ako. " I said as soon I wake up, I then stretched my body and stared at the ceiling in the room I worked at.

It's been 1 year and 3 months since I've worked here at Singapore. Mabuti nalang at mabait ang amo ko. Tuwing payday ko nagpadala ako ng pera kila mama at kay bunso para sa needs nila, nakaraos naman at onti onti na din ay nabayad na namin ang mga utang namin.
