As I ran through the corridors, trying to hide the streams of tears drowning my cheeks I bumped into professor McGonagall. She laid a hand on either shoulder, crouching down to look into my eyes and brought her arm around my shoulder, ushering me towards her classroom as soon as she had noticed something was wrong.
We soon arrived. She locked the door with the swish of her wand behind us and sat me down at a desk in the back of the room. She then sat herself on the edge of the desk with her hands placed onto her lap as I sobbed into my own.
She was very patient and gave me time to gather myself, letting the last of my tears dry so I could compose myself. She let out a heavy breath and looked into my eyes with her own sympathetic ones.
"Mr Crouch had informed us that it was you who placed a stinging hex on him last evening. Now I know you are a very bright girl so I know you didn't do this out of malice. Are you comfortable to inform me on what happened between the two of you?" She had a very soothing tone, in which convinced me to nod my head in agreement.
"H-he took me to the edge of the f-forbidden forest." I sucked in a deep breath, trying not to let anymore tears fall from my eyes.
"W-we just had a couple drinks and h-he kissed me." I took another deep breath as the professor placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
"H-he tried to take it further b-but I tried to stop him and he grabbed me." I said as I placed my own hand over my throat, remembering the traumatic events from the night before.
"He ripped my t-tights and tried to put his fingers in... in-" I was cut off by my own hysterical sobs once more and she rubbed the back of my shoulder as I lent my face into her cloak.
"It's okay, I will have this matter attended to immediately. I will speak with Dumbledore and make it seem to that you spend as much time as you need studying from the comfort of your dorm until this is resolved." I looked up to the compassionate professor and tried to crack a smile, thanking her for her help.
McGonagall waited about ten minutes beside me, letting me get all of my emotions out of my system and then escorted me back to my dorm. The rest of the Slytherin students in the common room were absolutely baffled as to why she had but I couldn't care less. All I wanted to do was hibernate under my covers for the rest of the school year.

My eyes fluttered open as I was being lightly shaken awake. I was met with the sight of the purple-ish sky out of my window, making me realise we were entering the evening. I turned around in my bed and was met with an identical to my own pair of green eyes.
"I've only just been told, are you okay?" Nyx was checking me over as to see if I had been hurt, little did she know I was covered in bruises from the night before.
"Can I just be left alone for more than a day!" I exclaimed, hurrying my head back into my pillow.
The overwhelming sensation of needing to cry took over me but not a tear left my eye. I must have ran out of the water works.
"Look, I need to talk to you about father, he's not happy" she informed me, I internally groaned and then externally screamed into my pillow.
The last thing I needed to hear about was my father right now.
"I know it isn't going to make anything better but the same happened to me with Dolohov." This truly shocked me. My sister always seemed like nothing in the world could touch her.
"Except I let him." She breathed heavily. I turned around once again in my bed to face her with a large frown planted on my face.
She placed a hand on my knee, on top of the duvet and rubbed gently, reassuring me with a tight smile on her face as she looked into my eyes with her own sympathetic ones.
