"She's going to be okay. The Dittany was applied too late to prevent scarring but the main thing is she's going to be okay, Reg" I heard the familiar voice of an older brother ring in my ears.
"Maybe I'm not a huge fan of scars" I chuckled as I opened my eyes, letting out a slight cough.
"Nad's, Merlin's beard we were worried!" Lily raced to my side along with Regulus. Sirius held back to let them have their moment.
"Yeah, little miss unorganised here misplaced her parchment with the counter curse" Sirius laughed, biting into a red apple as he leaned back onto a stone column.
"Hey! I didn't expect the boy to actually use it against us." Lily shot narrowed eyes toward the smug Padfoot.
"Snivellus might be obsessed with you, Evans, but there isn't anything he hates more than seeing you with someone else." Sirius scoffed, biting down on the apple once more.
"Well maybe if James didn't have to show off, we wouldn't have to be here" She argued back.
"If you two are going to bicker can you leave the room!" Regulus ordered in a very serious tone.
"C'mon, let's leave them to catch up" Lily stood from the edge of the bed, grabbing at Sirius' ear and dragging him from the room as he proceeded to shouted 'ow' again and again, causing me to giggle.
"I'm glad you're okay." Regulus smiled towards me as he cussed both of his hands around mine, planting a kids to my fingers.
"In all honesty the only thing that brought me back was the promise of a house, if I remember correctly" I sarcastically tapped my chin as if I were thinking.
"Well at least you didn't loose your sense of humour" He chuckled, laying his head onto my hand for a brief moment.
For the few seconds of silence I took a look at the surroundings. It looked as if we were in the Hogwarts hospital wing but much larger, and several older patients including ones from my rescue team lay in beds scattered about the room.
"Where are we, Reg?" I questioned.
"St. Mungo's Hospital" He enlightened me.
A chirpy woman who looked to be in her late twenties came strutting towards me with a clipboard. She placed her hand on my forehead and wrote on the clipboard then lifted the blanket to check my bandages and wrote on the clipboard once again.
"Right, Miss Riddle, we are confident enough to discharge you, please fill these forms and take them to the front desk on the ground floor." She told me in a disgusted tone, placing the clipboard and quick-quotes quill on my lap.
"Mr Black, if you have changed your mind about a butter beer, here's my address to send an owl." She smirked to my boyfriend, handing him a note.
'Indendio' He muttered, tapping his wand on the piece of parchment, setting it alight and bursting into ash mid-air.
"Has she got no shame" I grimaced, looking towards the woman who was helping an elderly man from his bed a few rows down.
"Your name isn't exactly very fond of at the moment" He tightened his lips.
"Whatever, just get me out of here" I rolled my eyes.
I spoke to the pen as it rapidly jotted down my details, standing from my bed careful not to disturb the bandaging around my stomach. Regulus lifted my arm around his shoulder to help me towards the elevator and with the click of a button we made our way quickly to the ground floor.
"We're so glad you're okay, Green bean" Mia took me into a warm motherly embrace.
"Just in time to go back to the manor for Christmas dinners and gifts." Monty added from behind her.
