The day dragged but soon enough my double charms lesson with Flitwick came to an end. Every student from Slytherin and Gryffindor rushed back to their dorms to get ready for the Quidditch game.

Me and Lil were especially excited to see the boys play. Regulus is the teams seeker and Evan, the chaser.

Evan had gifted Lillian his spare quidditch jumper which had his name written on the back which she chose to wear while Pandora chose to wear a plain black jumper and some sage green trousers.

I pulled on an oversized forest green jumper over my collared white shirt. It had a large white stripe going across it that read 'Slytherin'. I then paired it with a short black tennis skirt with sheer black tights and bulky black dragons leather boots.

I grabbed a large black knit cardigan on the way out the dorm and made our way towards the Quidditch pitch to the right of the school.

We climbed the steep staircases towards the seating areas and started to chat with the other members of Slytherin.

Balfour Greengrass, a very distant cousin of mine, was going around the stands with a palette of cream face paints. Me and the girls decided to join in and let the boy swipe a line of green on each of our cheeks as if we were on a mission.

Soon enough the teams walked onto the pitch from either side as the crowd roared with cheers. The players mounted their brooms and I brought a pair of binoculars up to my eyes. I found Regulus through them quickly as he rose into the air on the black sleek broom I had gifted him.

"Welcome to Hogwarts first Quidditch game of the season! The first game being between Slytherin and Gryffindor!" The third year commentator announced as the crowd roared at the mentions of their houses names.

Both teams of players started to rip through the air in unison, showing off to their own houses. Regulus slowed down as he passed by us and shot me a wink. A blush crept onto my face and as I looked to the side Evan had flew right up to Lillian and was practically swallowing her face.

"Rosier looks as if he's having more fun on the side lines than focusing on the game already" The commentator joked, which resulted in him pulling away as everyone erupted in laughter. Lillian was now red raw with embarrassment.

The players began to take their positions on the pitch as Madame Hooch stepped onto the field. She spoke towards the players and gave the brown box in front of her a swift kick, which flicked the lid open and several sized balls flew into the air.

The snitch flew around Regulus' head teasing him and did the same to the opposing teams dealer, which happened to be Dorcas. Madame Hooch the leaned down and took the Quaffle from the box and flung it into the air.

The teams beaters started hitting bludgers directly towards one another, being quick enough to dodge them so far.

Evan scored the first ten points for Slytherin as the crowds cheered for him, Gryffindor booing from their stands.

Xenophilius came by late and took a seat next to Pandora, sharing a bag full of what looked like salt water taffy. Unusual.

I took another look through my binoculars once I noticed Regulus started racing about the pitch, followed closely by Dorcas. The snitch was just out of reach as he leaned forward on his broom to try and catch the little golden ball but was soon thrown to the side as Dorcas crashed her body into him.

He spiralled out of the way and a hand flew to my mouth in hopes that he would keep his balance on the broom, which he did.

He shot forward on his broom and quickly caught up to Dorcas once again, following the snitch. This time he decided to throw his body into hers causing her to spiral out of the way, falling off of her broom and holding on to the wood with one hand.
