I sighed sitting on the barstool seat trying to get some warm air from the frosty winter outside. Perhaps I should have moved somewhere it didn't snow but without snow I felt incomplete.

I looked over at the side of the bar to see a picture of my old team I looked down smiling to myself glad that's over. "What?" The guy next to me asked "you know the ninja?"

I covered the hood on my head more "yeah."

"Personally?" He questioned wanting to know more

"I knew them all personally. At least I thought I did. A long time ago." I gazed at the crumpled newspaper photo

"What were they like?" He asked making me sigh

"They thought they were gonna change the world." I replied looking down then getting an unsteady feeling behind me.

I backflip facing the a figure to slam them against the wall. "Who are you?!" I shouted taking their hood off I gasped moving back once I saw Lloyd.

I lowered my hood "how did you find me?"

"You're my sister." Lloyd smiled like that answered everything "although a warmer place would have been nicer but I get it."

I chuckled looking away "you don't get it Lloyd. You never have, you never will."

"You're the ninja?!" The man jumped up

"Yes wow we're all surprised." I commented rolling my eyes "Now I want my hot chocolate."

"Look I'm getting the team together." Lloyd stated

I scoffed "yeah good luck with that bro."

"What do you plan to do with what happened?" Lloyd asked

"Aggressively ignore that part of my life until it goes away." I smiled as my hot chocolate was delivered

"That won't work. Look if some part of you misses being a ninja you know where to find me." Lloyd stated drawing his hood to leave

"I would want to be a ninja again." The waiter replied once Lloyd left

"Of course you would." I responded sighing

I went to Zane statue yes my brother got in my head part of me missed the ninja life. But coming here made me angry no one was taking care of this statue it was covered in rust, moss, and pigeon droppings. This doesn't exactly want to make me want to help the world.

I began walking downtown to the place Lloyd told me Chen's Noodle House. Out of all places. I took a breath before opening the door.

"Y/n, back here." Lloyd called standing up

"Jay? Cole? Kai?" I questioned walking over I didn't think I would be seeing them today. I thought I was having some family time with Lloyd.

"Ha, you too?" Cole asked annoyed

"The runt tricked us all." Jay replied angrily as I sat down

Lloyd stops Kai from taking food from the conveyor belt. "We talk first, then eat."

"Uh, trust me, do you know what kind of restraint I've had to stare at all of this noodle goodness? You're late." Cole stated serious

"Sorry I would blame traffic but we all know that would be a lie." I remarked

"I know without Zane things have been different, but we have to move on. The reason I brought you all here is because... maybe we should add someone new to our team." Lloyd spoke making me jump back
