"Try the horned wasp eggs. Delicious!" Chen smiled

"Uh, I think I'll pass." I said touching the slimy eggs

"Oh, lighten up, Master of Wind. This isn't a trick. This is a feast to celebrate the eight of you making it to the second round." The Kabuki laugh. "And I must congratulate the Master of Shadow's defeat over Master of Poison. She was a bit hard to swallow, am I right?" The Kabuki laugh. "Laugh harder! Hahahaha!" They force a harder laugh.

"You can relax, Lloyd. Even if there was a fight, now that we told the others about Chen's dirty plot to steal our Powers, we're safe in our secret alliance." Kai acknowledge

"I tried to enlist Shadow, but that dude's throwing some serious shade." Griffen whispered to me

"Well, if you plan to stop Chen, you'll need everyone on board. Each fighter that loses gives him strength. Soon he'll be too powerful for even all of you combined to overcome." My father replied

"Ooh, fortune cookies! Bring them to me!" Chen laughed

Of course he takes the only normal food in this place. I watched as Clouse said something to Chen letting him place the fortune cookie back down and send it around.

"It has come to my attention that there are rumors floating about that I am stealing everyone's power. I am." Chen admitted as we gasp. "But it's all for this staff." He claps, and the Kabuki waves their hand fans. "No, no. Not you, staff. I mean my real staff." Everyone gasps as the staff is brought to him. "The Staff of Elements. It holds the power of your fallen foes, and soon it'll hold all but one. For the last standing in my tournament will win this prize and be the greatest fighter ever in the history in Ninjago!"Everyone begins to whispers.

"You lied. What about the spell?" Lloyd yelled

"Spell? What spell?" Clouse questioned

"Don't believe him, it's just another trick. Nuero read Clouse's mind and saw it. Tell them what you saw, Neuro." Lloyd said turning to Nuero

"I—I don't remember. Truthfully, I'm a bit more interested in knowing more about that staff." Nuero responded smiling

"And why should we be so quick to believe everything you say? How do we know you're not lying to get the staff for yourself?" Griffen asked

I sighed opening my fortune cookie our alliance is falling apart. I looked at the piece of paper reading my fortune it said 'Your natural talents will bring success. If used well'

What and interesting fortune I smiled putting it down.

"So much for the alliance." My father remarked

"They believe him over us." Lloyd stated

I looked at Jay who had a Kabuki fanning too close to him. "If we're gonna convince anyone, argh, we need proof. Ugh. We need too, oh, find that spell. Would you cut it out!?" He yelled to the Kabuki

"Jay, it's me." The kabuki revealed herself to be Nya

"Nya?" We all ask happily

"Lower your voices. I'm undercover. And to be completely honest, a bit out of my element. And I heard what happened to Cole. That was big of you both." Nya shared

"Love is like war, Nya. Everybody gets hurt." Jay recited

"Is it just you, sis?" Kai questioned

"Dareth's also on the island." She replied tilting her bracelet down

Dareth on the bracelet "What up, ninja?"

"And in contact with Wu via mobile base." Nya informed

"If you're undercover, that means you can get close to Clouse's spellbook. All we know is that it's on page 149. I think he might have it in his quarters." Kai explained

"I'll look into it. And it sounds like you have your work cut out for you too." Nya whispered

"How so?" I question

"How do you think they found out about your little alliance? Someone in your circle of trust is a spy." Nya stated

"A spy?" We all gasp confused and she leaves before Clouse can see

"Do you know that servant girl?" Skylor wondered coming up next to us

"Uh—Know that girl? Uh, of course not. Why? Jealous?" Kai smirked laughing a little

"My fortune tells me Cole and your friend Zane will be breaking out." She hands him the message. "You're lucky this didn't end up in the wrong hands." Skylor said leaving

"He found Zane, I can't believe it." I muttered grabbing the paper to see a tiny hot air balloon drawing on it. I grinned putting the paper down everything might work out.

"It's good to know there are some people here we can trust." Kai nodded

"A spy? Who do you think it is?" Jay asked

"I have my suspicions." Lloyd replied looking at Shade.

"I don't know Lloyd it seems to obvious." I responded

"Ugh! Y/n everyone always thinks that and then it ends up being the most obvious person!" Jay groaned

We gathered all the Elemental Masters in Kai's suite.

"Like I said, I ain't joining your little alliance. I'm gunning for that staff." Shade stated annoyed

"Hey, this isn't about an alliance. This is about finding out who is the spy. No one leaves this room until we find out who is passing information to Chen." Lloyd ordered glaring to Shade

"Why are you looking at me, Greenie? I'm not your spy." Shade admitted

"Perhaps I can help." Nuero uses his Mind on everyone "I don't know who, but someone here isn't who they say they are."

"How do we know we can trust you? Maybe I should use your power and see inside your head." Skylor said smirking

"I'd like to see you try, power hoarder." Nuero shot back as Skylor ran up to punch him Kai stepped in. "This is what Chen wants, for us to fight. But we don't have to. There has to be a more civilized way around this."

"There is. Everyone who's ever worked for Chen has the Anacondrai tattoo on their back. Find the tattoo, find the spy." My father explained

"Anyone object?" I ask it seemed that no one did

Neuro shows his back without the tattoo. "Can I go now?"

"Not until we check everyone. Who's next?" Lloyd questioned

"Let's get it on." Griffen showed his back with no tattoo

We had checked everyone but Shade and Skylor.

"Well, only two left." I said

"Uh, I hate to do this, but it's your turn. Can I see your back, please?" Kai asked Skylor who glared "How could you not trust me? I came to you with the fortune cookie."

I've got a bad feeling about Skylor now. Her being the spy would be a complete plot twist but I kinda trust her.

"I'm sorry, but we have to know." Kai replied

"Wait. Where'd Shadow go?" Lloyd asked looking around

"He disappeared through his own shadow." Jay said

"There he is. Get him!" Griffen yelled as he appeared

"I ain't your spy, and I ain't your friend either. That staff will be mine." Lloyd uses his Energy on him, but a portrait of Kai falls on Jay instead. "Aah! My leg! Ugh. Get Kai off of me!"

Garmadon tries to stop Shade. "You cast a long shadow, old man."

"It was Shadow. He must be the spy." Nuero stated

"Ow! Oh." Jay sighed as I helped free him from the picture.

"Skylor, look, I'm sorry." Kai apologized

"Don't. And if you still think I'm the spy, watch me walk out that door." She shows us her back without the Anacondrai tattoo.

"What happened to our alliance?" I ask

"What alliance?" Lloyd countered
