🌫~Reunion~🌫 (Season 5 Ending)

I didn't know how to act around Cole anymore my heart always skipped a beat I didn't know what say or do.

"Y/n?" Cole asked making me jump up

"Yeah what's up?" I ask turning to him

"Sensei needs the team." Cole replied

"Oh..." I say nodding and moving past him quickly I heard him sigh then grab my hand "did I do something?"

"What?! No!" I shout panicking making him more confused "I'm sorry if I'm acting weird."

"You can tell me what's bothering you." He responded thoughtfully

"I- I don't know if I can actually." I reply slowly to see him frown

"I just don't know how you would react..." I trail off gaining his interest. He deserves to know too it's his future. But maybe I don't have to tell him the whole truth.

"When I was in the cave I saw all the team in their old age. I saw you Cole. You weren't a ghost." I said smiling this made Cole jump up happily. "I wasn't! I'm gonna get my body back! I have a future!" He picked me up spinning me around. "You have no idea how happy I am right now."

All I could do was laugh nervously as he set me down staring at me for a moment. "Thank you Y/n you're my best friend."

Best friend... I put a fake smile nodding as he ran off past me. I buried my hands in my face sighing.

"Y/n?" Jays voice comes from behind.

I spin around still trying to keep a happy persona "oh hey Jay! What's up?"

"Nothing much but Cole seems happier then usual." Jay commented

"Yeah I told him." I replied as Jay beamed

"You did that's amazing! Are you guys together now? Is that why he's so happy!"

"Uh not exactly." I chuckle nervously. "See I may have lied a little. But! All I said was I saw the whole team so he wouldn't think it was just me and him."

Jay looked at me confused "but why would you do that he likes you?"

"No he doesn't Jay he called me his best friend. You were wrong." I state as Jay shakes his head "No I'm not!"

"It's not a big deal." I reply sighing

"No it is! Because if you two don't end up together... then me and Nya don't either!" Jay yelled. It took me back a bit Jay was being serious.

"Jay you and Nya are different!" I assured. "Destiny just always keeps me and Cole apart. So it's not meant to be... I guess." I walk over to him place my hand on his shoulder. "But you and Nya. If anything destiny is always pushing you together."

Jay nodded smiling then becoming serious again "I'm sorry Y/n."

"Don't worry about me. Anyway didn't Sensei need us?" I ask as Jay jumped up "you're right hurry!" He excavated pulling me to where the other ninja gathered

"Ah! Hello again, ninja." Cyrus rolled in out of nowhere

"While we were away, I had Borg use the money from the tea farm to create us some new toys to balance the scales. They are expensive, you know." Sensei explained 

"It's been so long, I hardly recognize any of you. Lloyd looks older. I see a Water Ninja. A titanium Nindroid. Cole is a...a ghost? Huh?" Cyrus laughs nervously. "Jay looks shorter. Y/n looks stronger. And, and then there's Kai."

"Hey, what do you mean I look shorter?" Jay asks offended

"I'm sorry, Dr. Borg, but cut to the chase. We don't have much time." Kai rushed
