TW: mentions of physical and mental abuse.

You were riding your bike to the sound of it's no big deal, and youre trying to lift off the ground on those old two wheels.

Yoongi looked up smiling softly as he saw Jimin another local boy racing his bike towards school. Yoongi had acknowledged the boy a lot lately.

His longer flowing blonde hair as it blew through the wind while he rode his bike. The small smile he always had when completing math in their math class. The way anyone who looked his way would immediately feel serotonin from the males bright energy.

No matter where the younger always caught his eye.

Nothing about the way you were treated ever seemed especially alarming till now.

Sometimes Jimin acknowledged him so much that he even acknowledged the smaller things like a small bruise now and then, or the fact that during events everyone's parents but his were there.

Today was different. Jimin came to school walking, no smile, a small bruise forming on his cheek, instead of serotonin Yoongi felt drained looking at his condition. Was he not treated well?

So you tie up your hair and you smile like it's no big deal.

"Hey.. are you okay?" Yoongi asked as Jimin lifted his head to look up at the taller boy.

"Huh oh yeah I'm fine." He said smiling, but Yoongi could tell it was forced he'd never seen the boy smile like that.

"Do you have any hair elastics?" He asked tucking his hair behind his ears a few times.

"I might let me check.." Yoongi said stopping to open his backpack as Jimin stood waiting patiently

"I have a rubber band?" He said looking up hopeful. This time Jimin genuinely smiled with a small laugh.

"I guess it will do." He stated grabbing the rubber band from his hand and beggining to the up the blonde hair that just slightly reached his shoulders.

"Thanks.. uh I didn't catch your name." He said looking up at Yoongi with his sparkly brown eyes.

"Yoongi.. Min Yoongi."

"Thanks Min Yoongi." He smiled gently continuing to walk to the school alongside the brunette.

You can let it go, you can throw a party full of everyone you know, and not invite your family cause they never showed you love.

You don't have to be sorry for leaving and growing up.

"My grandmother has a old cottage that I could clean up for a pre- grad party maybe even a after party." Jimin said to a few people around him as Yoongi perked his head up at his locker.

"You can bring your parents and whoever to the first one but the second one. Just your plus ones." He smiled as everyone gathered excitedly trying to get the address.

Like every event everyone's parents gathered around at the house, but Jimins family was nowhere in sight. He sat on the couch socializing occasionally while sipping on some punch that another student brought.

"Min Yoongi." Jimin said as Yoongi snapped out of his gaze on him blushing slightly. The younger got up walking over and looking up into his eyes like the first day they met.

"Do you happen to have another rubber band?" He smirked pulling yoongi over to sit next to him.

"I- I don't think so." He stammered feel Jimin remove his hand from his wrist.
