Me: can I please write?

Finals + lack of motivation: lMAOOOOO. no.

anyway if you're reading this when this comes out at 2:00 Am...how's your day going?  Mine... has been better.  (and if you're not reading this at 2 AM... I still want to know.  how's your day.  so yeah.  if you're reading this how was your day?)

In any case with me now being free from finals and officially on summer break you can expect more chapters...probably...maybe...no promises.)

(Rimuru POV)

We made our way through the city and to be honest it was a bit more advanced than I gave it credit for a first glance. Compared to the cities like Inglesia and tempest it wasn't much, but it wasn't anything to scoff at.

Well, then again I guess we also had a supply of otherworlders to help the advancements of the city so a comparison wasn't very fair...

In any case, it felt pretty good to finally be out of the dungeon. It felt like a weight was lifted from my back.

I was following Sophia back to her place. However, we were taking a bit of a scenic route so she could also tour me around the city.

It was rather large, but thanks to Great sage I could easily map it all out without losing track.

"That there is the main guild building." Sophia pointed to a decent-sized building. A bunch of Adventurers were going in and out of it. She held her finger there for a second. I turned to her face and she wore a strange expression.

"Is something wrong?"

"Hmm... well I was just thinking about how to go about getting you an adventures card."

"Adventures card?"

"Yeah. it basically works like identification. It allows you to exchange magic stones for money and is proof that you're an adventurer."

Hmm. yeah, that does sound important.

"So I should probably get one?" I asked.

She nodded, but her complicated expression didn't fade.

"I'm assuming it's not that easy?"

"Yeah. for one we'd have to get you a familia, but I'm unsure how to go about doing that what with you being a monster. I haven't seen a monster get a blessing before, but something tells me it just won't work," she explained.

"Is that so..." I said. "So wait how do they know if you're blessed or not?" I asked.

"..." she turned toward me with a blank expression. She looked around grabbed my hand and dragged me into an alley.

"Huh? Wah?" I grunted in confusion at her sudden movements.

"The way that one can tell if you're blessed or not is due to these tattoos," she said as she removed her armor and lifted her shirt back to me.

"Huh?!" I was about to avert my eyes, however, at the last second, something caught my eye. There were these strange black markings across her back. Upon closer inspection, they formed a sort of pattern.

"Hmm?" I looked closer and as I did I saw strange letters and numbers on her back as well.

Great sage auto-translated and I began to read
