(3rd Person POV)
Sophia sat silently in the carriage staring out the window, expressionless as she always was. Her hands lied on her lap as she allowed her mind to drift aimlessly.
Across from her, a man sat. He had straight brown hair tied into a ponytail, and harsh green eyes peeking out from behind his bangs. His hands partially covered his face as he hunched over, elbows resting on his knees. His foot tapped the floor of the carriage repeatedly, his agitation was plain as day.
"Just what the hell were you thinking?" He spat out.
Sophia's eyes slowly trailed over to the man before her.
This question again? Any answer I give, he'll be pissed either way won't he? She thought in her head. Did that mean silence would get her out of this? Probably not.
"..."
"Well?!"
Knew it. She held back the thought of sighing.
"I did my best to get stronger." She said plainly.
"Tch, so you disappear for two years and cut off all contact?! I don't think you even realize what sort of position that puts me in!"
I can imagine. She didn't respond. The man punched the side of the carriage in rage before clicking his tongue and putting a lid on his anger at Sophia's expressionless look.
She silently turned her head back to face the window as she recalled the events of yesterday.

A man had come and returned Rimuru in his blob form. Sophia's initial reaction was surprise but she soon felt a small sense of relief. She wasn't sure how he would react to what came next.
At the same time though she knew the timing was too convenient. She wasn't sure what happened, how or why. But she didn't question it too deeply either.
That was never her job.
She accepted Rimuru and listened to the message the cloaked figure wished to convey to Rimuru after he awoke. She nodded and the cloaked figure walked away. Still things will need to hurry along before he wakes up.
She thought to herself. She went ahead and placed Rimuru on the couch before moving to her own room.
It was rather bare bones. Having a bed in one corner, a desk in another with a few loose pieces of paper and a quill with a bottle of ink in the corner. She walked over and sifted through the pieces of paper grabbing a few sheets of notes along with blanks and folding them into her pockets before turning to her closet.
She stopped and stared silently at the long black cloak. A gift from Rimuru. She hesitated slightly, two conflicting voices arguing in her head.
Shut up, she commanded both Eve and Ava as she pushed the black jacket out of the way, grabbing a different lighter one.
Rimuru has way too many skills and abilities. The last thing I need is to make following me even easier for him. She thought to herself.
A part of her knew a confrontation with Rimuru would be inevitable. She had seen everything he was capable of and knew that ultimately once he decided to follow her he'd find her.
And frankly she wasn't confident in her ability to convince him otherwise in a letter.
Perhaps if it was someone else they could, but Sophia wasn't ignorant to her social ineptitude. She considered merely lying about why she was missing, but when she tried to think up what to say she could only draw blanks. And the last thing she was going to do was hand the reins over to Eve or Ava.
