Chapter 18

It had been four days since Liz found out about her daughters' secrets and Damon and Stefan being vampires. Tori and Damon were barely talking because Tori didn't want Damon to kill Mason even if he deserved it. Tori only stayed in the Salvatore house because her mom was in the cellar. Tori didn't want to spend another day in the same house as Damon because of him constantly nagging and badgering her about her using her magic and Mason and she hated that Damon was dismissing her concern about what Mason told her. She knew there was something wrong with her and there might be some truth to what Mason was telling her.

Tori had tried casting a spell to help remove the vervain from her mom's system faster but every time she tried she felt nauseous and couldn't do it.

"Hey, Sorry for not being able to meet up," Tori said as she walked into the kitchen.

"It's okay. After what you told me and with Caroline being your sister, I'm surprised you even reached out to me at all,"

"Bonnie? Seriously?" Tori said as she turned to her with a hand on her hip "You are my friend and most importantly you are a freaky witch like me, I'm not going to abandon you just cause you hate vampires. But, you need to give Care a chance. I know she is a vampire but she still is your friend and she is good. I mean I completely understand why you hate vampires, Damon did shit that is not easy to forgive but at least you are not related to the ass," Tori said as she took out her grimoire and couple of vials of herbs

"Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I found out Damon was your father," Bonnie told Tori who nodded in understanding

"So, you up for a spell?" Tori asked Bonnie

"Yeah, which one?" Bonnie asked in response

"To figure out what's wrong with me," Tori told Bonnie who looked worried

"What do you mean?" The witch asked

"I can't perform strong spells with ease, I used to be able to do that earlier but lately even a small aneurysm spell is draining me. It's been a week since my near-death battle with that witch Skylar and my concussion from Katherine. By now, I should be feeling fine, but I feel worse and I am worried that I might lose my powers forever," Tori told Bonnie

"Woah, okay. Come on. Lie down and we can get started so that I can get to the Lockwood mansion to help with the ball," Bonnie told her friend.

Damon heard someone knocking on the door. He rushed to open the door hoping it was Tori because for the last couple of days Tori was avoiding him. Damon opened the door to see Jeremy instead of his daughter "I need to talk to you," Jeremy told Damon. He had information about Mason and his obsession with Tori. Jeremy didn't want to tell Tori about what Tyler had told him.

"And why do I need to talk to you?" Damon asked Jeremy before going to shut the door in Jeremy's face but Jeremy pushed the door back open.

"Tyler Lockwood has to kill someone to activate his curse. He's not a werewolf yet," Jeremy told Damon

"Wow, fascinating. Not enough," Damon told the boy sarcastically as he attempted to close the door again, but Jeremy pushed the door back open again "But Mason Lockwood is and he's looking for a moonstone, a special rock connected to the werewolf legend. That's why he's here," Jeremy told Damon while he kept the information about Tori to himself only willing to reveal it once Damon let him in.

"A moonstone?" Damn asked intrigued

"And I know where it is," Jeremy revealed

"And you're bringing me this why?" Damon asked
