Elena walked into Damon's room to see the television on. Damon was watching the news channel that was currently reporting on his dead girlfriend's apparent Suicide.

"Just can't stay away, can you?" Damon told Elena as he ripped the news articles he had about his brother and daughter's trail. He planned to get Bonnie or another witch to find Tori. He was planning to drive down to Savanah to meet her old acquaintance to help with rescuing Tori.

"You've been dodging my calls," Elena told Damon

"Yeah, well, busy dating a dead fake girlfriend and all," Damon said as he muted the television

"Why didn't you tell me?" Elena asked

"Happy Birthday, Elena. Stefan killed Andie and threatened my daughter's life. Cake?" Damon told Elena sarcastically

"He called me, Damon," Elena told Damon making him furrow his eyebrows

"What?" Damon asked

"Stefan called me last night," Elena repeated

"Well, what'd he say?" Damon asked

"He didn't say anything, but it was him. I asked Sheriff Forbes if she would trace the call's origin. It came from Tennessee," Elena told Damon

"Where he's binge drinking on the country folk. We went through this, Elena. Stefan's gone. I don't mean geographically," Damon told Elena as he threw the papers he collected into the fireplace.

"If he was gone, he wouldn't have called," Elena told Damon

"Yeah, well he is gone, there is no saving him, Elena. The only thing I am focussing on right now is how to rescue my daughter from Klaus and my brother," Damon told Elena

"What? You can't just rescue Tori. You can't give up on Stefan. Tori would never let you do that," Elena told Damon

"My daughter comes first Elena. I don't care about anything else," Damon told Elena, who scoffed at Damon

"What about me? You know what, forget it!" Elena told Damon walking out of the room, leaving a guilt-filled Damon alone.

Tori got out of the car she was stuck in for hours. She had stretched her muscles and cracked her neck making her sigh in relief. Tori looked at Klaus who had pulled out a map to check the route they had to take while Stefan walked towards the trunk of the car.

"Hey!" Tori said walking toward her uncle

"Hey, how are you feeling about, it?" Stefan whispered

"Oh, the hybrid knows. He's known about it for a long time. Long story. It's okay," Tori told Stefan who looked pale like a ghost.

"Here, take this. I thought you might need it," Stefan told Tori as he handed her a backpack.

"You got me clothes?" Tori asked

"Yeah, if you are going to turn into a wolf, there is a chance you will shred them, so, I thought keeping an extra pair wouldn't hurt," Tori smiled at her uncle

"Well, since we are exchanging stuff, here," Tori told Stefan as she handed him a chain bracelet

"Thanks?" Stefan said confused making Tori smile.

"It's not the prettiest thing but it serves a purpose. The bracelet helps with your hunger. You won't lose control like you usually do, at least I hope it will," Stefan looked at Troi in surprise as he looked at Klaus who seemed unaware of the conversation between the two.
