Its early morning but I'm sitting in the chair we got for Emilia's nursery. Everything is mostly set up in here now, it looks like a real baby nursery which is exiting. Slowly but surely all the clothes, swaddles, linens and blankets are being washed so they are ready for her when she arrives.

My belly is growing rapidly, but I don't mind anymore. The baby is about the size of a head of broccoli today, and now its rapidly going to grow until she comes out and meet us. Sure, I've been doubting my abilities to be a mother a lot, I don't know if I'm ready, but I want to be ready. She is coming soon, in around 10 weeks, so I need to get as prepared as I can.
I get up and walk around the room. In the top drawer of the dresser there are diapers and wipes ready to be used as well as diaper cream and stuff like that if we end up needing it. I sort of know the general idea of diapering a baby, but I haven't actually done it myself before. Hopefully we learn that even before we leave the hospital so we can be fine when we get home.
The clothes already washed are in the other drawers neatly folded in a way so we can see it all. The color palette is pleasing to the eye, that's what I wanted. The whole nursery is really what I wanted, and now everything is set up and ready. Even the baby monitor is set up, one here and one in our bedroom aimed at the basinet. There is also a changing station in our bedroom for midnight changes of dirty diapers.
