I hear three knocks as I am watching TV in the living room. Naledi is in her room so I head over to open the door, as I open it, there stands Pacer with a paper bag in hand.

"Hey you, what are you doing here?"

"I thought you might be hungry if you are not responding to my text."

"Oh, I just forgot but I am hungry, what did you get me?"

"Dunked wings, a wrap, the purple slushie and chips." I wrap my arms around his neck, I like the purple slushie, I do not know if it is grape or something else but I love it.

"Thank you, are you staying?"

"Unfortunately not, I have work but I can be back later tonight."

"If you would like, you can come."

"I will be here, what food would you like?"

"Can you get me the wings from Roco Mamas, I love those more than the dunked wings." He nods before planting a kiss on my forehead. He walks out and closes the door.

"Girl!" Pacer and I have gone out on a few dates and we are now comfortable with hanging out in my room watching movies or talking while eating, he feels safe and warm, like a teddy bear.

"Do you want some?" She nods, I knew she would want.

"Let's buy more." She takes out her phone and orders "So he is bringing you food, randomly? What trance do you have him in, I want to try it on Zale."

"None, he is just great and I feel fantastic when I am with him." She is beaming, happy that I am finding joy and moving on

"I am happy for you."

"I am happy for me too, now how far are those wings?"

"You already had ten!"

"You took two!"

"Still,"

"Girl bye." She rolls her eyes before holding my hand

"Do you think I should have a graduation party?"

"Definitely, when was the last time we had a party and you can invite Zale!"

"If he is not busy, he is always busy."

"With?"

"His job, the only free time he has, I am busy so it's like so hard to see him but we promised to spend the weekend together and I am not going home for the holidays because we are going on a road trip."

"That's cute, where are you going to go?"

"I don't care, I want to lay in bed with my man but I think his place."

"P is coming here though."

"Y'all better not make a baby." Laughter erupts between us.

"You should take your own advice, I have a job so I can support a baby."

"Deal, do you want to go to the store?"

"You want to stretch your legs?"

"Yeah and maybe buy something." We get up and ready before going out and heading to the store.

"I was talking to Zale about like what we are because like we have been talking for a while and we are sleeping together so like surely we are strong enough to label this and he gots 'Whatever you want us to be' what does that even mean?"

"That you should call him your boyfriend and see how he responds. He is unsure about you and him."

"Yeah, I guess that's why he doesn't make time for me."
