Reality

Serene's POV

As soon as I finished getting ready I hurriedly went down to go to school. Binaba ko muna ang gamit ko sa sofa at pumunta sa kitchen to fill up my water bottle. Kumuha lang ako sa ref ng cold brew at pumunta na agad sa sala para umalis na. I was about to leave when my Kuya Alfonso blocked the door.

"Hep baby bunso! Walang aalis ng hindi nag bbreakfast."

"I'll be late kuya. Mauna na ako. Besides I'll just eat pag nasa school na ako." I said.

"Sabay ka na saamin mahal ko. Ihahatid ka nalang namin." She said.

"Hindi na po. Makikita lang nila na magkasama tayo. Baka may makakita pang media sayo." I coldly said. Whom I was talking to? Irene Alvante Beltran. Yes, she is my Mom.

"Anak." Anak huh? Magsama kayo ng negosyo mo.

"Kuya please. May meeting pa kami sa council!"

"Hoy anong council?"

"I won as the Student Chairman of our department. Now may I excuse myself." I irritatedly said and left.

After 17 minutes I arrived in our school and went directly to our classroom. Wala naman talaga kaming meeting, I just needed to escape from that giant man. But it's true that I won the election though.

"Ms. Beltran, can I excuse you for a while?" Sir Alex said.

"Hala kaaaa! Ano ginawa mo Venice? Halaaaa!" Maxine teased me. My bestfriend. The most bruha person in my life. But she, she is my person.

"Shut up." I said and rolled my eyes. I hurriedly went to Sir Alex.

"Ikaw bata ka hindi ka nanaman nag almusal." he said. He is one of my Mom's bestfriend.

"Sir naman. Minessage ka nanaman ba niya?"

"Serenity, she is still your mom. May pinadala siyang lunch and sandwich for you. Don't dare give it to your friends or throw it, I'm observing you." He said as he gave me the paper bag.

"Fine." I got the paper bag and went back inside.

Kinuha ko ang sandwich and may note.

"You eat, mahal ko. Mommy made your favorite. Don't throw this please. I want you to eat this anak. I love you so much my serenity. - Mommy ♡

Hahaha! Funny naman ng I love you. I crampled the paper and threw it. Binuksan ko ang sandwich and saw a chicken and egg sandwich. Hinati ko ito at binigay kay Maxine. Parang tangang nakatingin saakin si Maxine eh. Akala mo batang nakatingin sa balikbayan box tapos naghihingi eh. Agad naming inubos ang pagkain namin dahil mag sstart na ang class namin. Chineck ko rin ang pinadala niyang lunch, rice with my favorite fried chicken of hers and some salad.

"Ok so we do have an upcoming Valentine's day event here sa school. We will announce the details tomorrow. Ms. Chairman, ikaw na bahala." Our teacher said.

"Yes sir." I just said.

"Ok class dismissed." 

"Huy san us? Gala tayo!" Maxine asked. Oo sa aming lahat she is always the one who initiates to go out and make gala. 

"Gala nanaman?" Alli said.

"Alam mo kung nandito lang sa Pilipinas si Linda masasapok ka nun." 

"Hindi niya ako abot." Maxine said and smirked as she clinged her arm to mine. Alli did the same to me and we all went out of the school.

"Hindi nga, saan nga kasi tayo? I mean it's 12 palang oh." Maxine said. And yes, half day lang kami for our classes. But not for me I still have student council duties.
