Will ROSEQUARTZ renew its contract with Big Hit Music? In July of this year, ROSEQUARTZ's exclusive contract with Big Hit Music will come to an end.
On January 19th, NH Investment & Securities predicted ROSEQUARTZ will renew its contract with the label in its analyst report. But according to the new media report by Munhwa Ilbo on January 23rd, it won't be so easy for Big Hit Music as the members are being offered much higher guarantees elsewhere. According to one insider, Miyoung is being offered 100 billion KRW to switch labels.
Indeed, ROSEQUARTZ members will not simply move with money if they want to continue using the group name 'ROSEQUARTZ.' But insiders still believe Big Hit Music would have to offer at least 20 billion KRW per member.
