"Lower your body, bend your knees more."

You groan "Like this?"

"No, lower. And put one foot behind you. Yea."

Even during the cold days Rindou takes you outside to train your self defense moves and even though you complained multiple times, saying that there's enough space at home, he refused. He told you that the cold will help you with pain resistance to which you scoffed.

Now he has you standing in the parking lot of your apartment complex, bending you knees and putting your foot back and holding your hands up and looking around and blah, blah, blah.

You've done this so often by now and yet Rindou seems to always have something against your form, nagging at every little detail. That's why he refused to let you practice your technical skills in actual combat. You're not ready in his eyes but how would he know if he never sees you fight.

Ran also came along a couple of times, standing around and being lazy. He complained the entire time. At one point you screamed at him that while you're sorry he's freezing his nuts off, you can't change the winter weather to make it warmer. He never joined your lessons after that ever again.

"Can't I just wing it in a fight? I doubt I'll remember to bend my knees a certain angle in an actual fight." You've been telling Rindou that for weeks now and his response has always been the same "You'll train until it's muscle memory then.".

Sighing you fold your body in half, letting your upper part hang over. "Please just let me fight already. I want to see my progress." Rindou stays silent so you stand up straight to see his face. He's emotionless "No." You fall back forward.

"I've been training for four months Rin. This is getting boring."

"Then maybe you don't need to protect yourself after all. Since it's so boring." His mumbled words reach your ears anyways as the snow makes the air extremely silent. You run up to him to hug his waist. "It's not boring, it's tiring. All this knowledge but now way to test it out." Looking up at him you try to make him change his mind by giving him your lovely puppy eyes. Rindou is a softy and usually falls for them every time, only when you two are alone though, with Ran he acts all stoic with you.

Grumbling under his breath Rindou looks away but you snuggle into his chest more to a point he can basically feel the puppy eyes staring at him. "Fine." You let go to jump around, heavy coat making it harder to move "But I'll go easy on you." You nod your head, happily getting into position.

With a big sigh Rindou also takes position. You've never seen Rindou fight so this whole experience makes your heart pump. "Just so you know I'm stopping before I hit you." You smirk "Who said you'll be able to hit me?" Cocking a brow at your teasing he shakes his head, getting his head in the game.

"Come at me damit-" Right before you're able to voice your impatiens Rindou comes swinging at you, not in real life but in a quick vision. His right arm comes straight at you in slow motion before the color returns and you can swat his right hand away before it gets too close to you for real.

With wide eyes Rindou stares at you before composing himself to attack again. You see a vision of his leg coming up to hock behind hour left knee so you step back before he can. By now he must be thinking something's up. No way he'll believe that that was beginners luck, right?

You see a combo of left and then right coming so you direct his left down and lean back from his right, successfully avoiding all of his punches. Your smirk never left your lips as you already knew this was going to happen. Even if Rindou promised to stop before actually hurting you, your body still sees his advances as a threat, therefore showing you a vision. You knew from the start that Rindou won't be able to lay a finger on you. He can be as fast as possible and his swings can hold the power of a bull, to you it doesn't matter. Your visions never fail you, showing you exactly what you need to see.

Even the bad times or your death in the future.

The next vision shows Rindou charging at you, body low and arms wide to encase your torso completely. So you stretch out your left arm the moment he comes at you, placing your hand on his head while stepping aside. With a light push you get him off balance and he tumbles forward, trying to not fall onto the ground.

"What the-" He successfully stayed off the floor, now looking back at you with wide eyes and a curious gaze. "I told you." You smile "I won't let you touch me." Walking up to him you reach out to fix his glasses, quickly setting them straight on his nose before giving him a closed eye smile, tongue sticking out a little.

"Have you done this before?" You shake your head "Are you sure? No self defense classes? No karate, MMA, anything?" You shake your head again. "You're my only teacher." You tell him before walking towards the entrance of the building. "Let's go home, I'm freezing!"

You sit on the couch together with Rindou, hot chocolate in hand and some random show on the TV. While watching Ran comes out, having woken up from his evening nap. "Ah, you're back. How did it go?" Rindou grumbles and you lean away from his side to turn your body around "I kicked Rin's ass!" The smile on your face lights up the room and Ran walks around to sit on your other side. "Really?" He looks at Rindou who nods begrudgingly.

"She was better than I expected."

You stick your tongue out towards Ran before snuggling back into Rindou's side. "Can I fight you too then?" Before Rindou gets to deny his brothers request you accept "Sure. But I can't guarantee that you'll be able to hit me." Your words properly rile up Ran as the older Haitani gives you his signature smile for when he's pissed off.

"Really?" You nod.

"Then fight me right now."

"Sorry but I don't lose." With Ran now on the floor, panting and gasping for air after exhausting his strength on trying to hit you, you sit back on the couch, drinking your remaining -now cold- hot chocolate.

"How? You're so small and have no experience!" Ran stays on the floor, falling back to stare at the ceiling. "Maybe I can see the future and avoid all of your attacks?" Both brothers laugh a little before shaking their head.

"Yea right."

You sigh "I'm being honest right now! How else will you explain my skills?" The Haitani's are silent for a while before Rindou starts "You had a good teacher." With a deadpan expression you sigh before gathering the mugs, stepping over Ran to get to the kitchen. "Sunny?" You hear Rindou call out to from the couch and you sigh "Don't flatter yourself too much Haitani. I beat you too after all." Ran chuckles from the floor, pissing off Rindou making the blond pounce on his brother.

You sigh while watching the two play fight on the floor "I'm the only sane person here."
