After New Years passed and January rolled around the festive mood went away immediately. Not that there was much of it in the first place since it was mostly you baking more sweets than usual.

During the first week of the new year the Haitani's went out more often, saying they're meeting some friends that you haven't met before. You trust them enough to not question their actions but stay observant nonetheless.

Today, a couple days after they first mentioned said friends, they asked if you were alright with having them over. You agreed. There's no reason not to let them have friends come over. Just because you don't have any other than them doesn't mean it's the same for them.

"I'm gonna take a nap please don't be too loud." You kiss Rindou's cheek before standing up from the couch. You hear Ran scream 'no promises' after you and you roll your eyes. In bed and dressed in Rindou's shirt, only the shirt, you get comfortable and warm. Immediately your eyes flutter shut and you're out like a light. With all the cooking and cleaning you've been doing you finally have the chance to relax.

Loud voices and glasses banging what you believe to be the coffee table wake up. Your eyes search for the clock and you see that around an hour passed since you went to sleep.

Considering you've already napped for an hour and have quite literally nothing to do, you sit up. Stretching out muscles and cracking your back you quickly look over yourself in the mirror, making sure that Rindou's shirt is big enough to cover your everything. Your stomach grumbles while doing so making you frown.

When you remember that you out leftovers from yesterday's dinner in the fridge you light up and walk out of the room and towards the kitchen with hurried steps. You ignore the sudden silence and the stares as well as all the guys sitting on your couch. For your own sanity.

While rummaging through the fridge and cutlery you hear hushed voices that slowly get louder to a point you understand each word.

"You don't need a woman. She will hold you back."

There's no need to assume it's about you as you're clearly the only woman in the apartment. You try to be as fast as possible with your food, eating behind the counter quicker than ever before. But even with your speeding you fail to get in and out on time as multiple footsteps walk towards the kitchen.

"Izana don't! I swear she won't hold me back. [F/N] isn't weak."

You smirk a little at Rindou's words. Not only do you know how to defend yourself, you also know exactly how to avoid being hit at all. Future vision is quite practical if it isn't giving you dreams about your death.

Not a second after the boys are standing in the kitchen, staring at you, judging you.

Ran and Rindou stand off to the side together with a blond with glasses and a guy with a scar on his face. You choke on your food and cough as you recognize him. The scar, the eyes that looked at you so pitiful in your last moment at 21. You even remember his name. Kakuchou.

Once done with coughing you look straight ahead, making eye contact with purple wide eyes. So that must be Izana then.

"You got a staring problem?" This time you won't beg and plead for your life. You're stronger now, mentally and physically, so you snap at one of your future murderers. Rindou's eyes almost pop out of his head and you see it in your peripheral. If Rindou and Ran hold high respect for this dude then he must be an incredible person.

"Not really. You're my problem." His voice is dull but filled with authority. You don't like people like him, those that think too highly of themselves. "Last time I checked I was Rin's problem." You don't break eye contact while eating, chewing loudly and kind of disgusting. "You wanna get beaten that badly? Rindou doesn't need you so you better leave him alone." Chuckling you swallow before answering.
