You sit on a bench in the middle of green garden surrounded by flowers. A light breeze hits your skin and you open your previously closed eyes. The bright blue sky is the first thing you see, bringing a smile to your face. With a deep breath you inhale the fresh air and the scent of nearby flowers, all of which you planted with the help of your long term partner, his lazy brother just sat by and watched making a three hours job turn into a five hour one.

"Enjoying yourself all alone?"

A familiar voice calls out to you from behind. You don't turn your head as you already know who it is.

"You looked so pretty sleeping so I left quietly."

He chuckles at your words before waking over and sitting down next to you. His left hand wraps around your shoulder, making you lean into his body. With your head now resting on his shoulder you close your eyes to take a deep breath, taking in his scent and relaxing into him.

"When do you think Ran will wake up?"

Rindou sighs "Probably not for a while, he drank quite heavily yesterday." You sigh as well at his answer but stay quiet otherwise.

"Sunny?"

You hum, urging the blond to continue talking.

"I love you."

Your eyes open and you lean away from Rindou, his arm dropping from your shoulder to your waist.

Staring deep into his violet eyes you smile "I love you too, Rin." Before giving him a kiss. Even after 15 years you're still together, and going strong at that. You'd go as far as to say that your relationship has never been better. With no kids, other than Ran, to worry about you have all the time in the world to spend together. You travel a lot, from one city to another or straight up going to a different country.

You work a decent job and even got the country side house you always dreamed of. Only thing missing is a dog, but you have Ran for that.

"I'm so lucky to have you by my side." Rindou never stopped to assure you in your relationship after that one time you told him about your real feelings. He assures you of your relationship, your stability, he reassures your life, and you're ever so grateful for that. Without his words you would have kicked the bucket in your early twenties, when life was rocky.

"I wouldn't be here without you." Rindou doesn't like hearing it, but it's nothing but the truth. Without him to lean on you wouldn't be here right now.

Kissing Rindou one last time you lean back into his body to lay your head onto his shoulder, closing your eyes and listening to his mild breathing. "You're my everything." Though it comes out as mumbled you know Rindou heard as his arm around you tightens.

Your body suddenly feels heavy and you slowly but surely slip off into dreamland, falling asleep in your lovers arms, inside of your shared garden, of your home, in a perfect future.

Your eyes open slowly, like you wish to continue dreaming. There are tears in your eyes but they're not from sadness, they're happy tears.

Have twelve years of fighting for your life finally paid off? Have you finally found a way to get your own happy ending, with Rindou by your side? Can you finally stop worrying?

You smile, reaching up to wipe away the tears. You sit up in the slightly dark room, wiping away tear after tear as they just continue spilling out.

"[F/N]?"

Rindou wakes up next to you and slightly panics from seeing you cry. "What's wrong? Another nightmare?" You quickly shake your head, laughing a little while never stopping to wipe dry your cheeks.
