Mikey tumbles to the floor and the air around the area becomes tense and heavy, silence loud on your ears. Looking around you see that everyone has a similar expression as you, all surprised and shocked that the invincible Mikey took a blow from someone like Takemichi. And while you also had the chance to hit Mikey, it wasn't even half as meaningful and impressive as Takemichi's.

After the initial shock died down, the members of Toman started cheering their gang's name, celebrating their leader's achievement.

When you look back at the two blonds you see Mikey already back on his feet, facing Takemichi with an empty expression. Kantou Manji's leader doesn't even try to hide the anger in his eyes, freely directing that hateful gaze at your leader. He begins to speak to Takemichi, screaming his questions at the blond while charging at him.

While you try to listen to their conversation, the ringing in your ears gets louder and louder, forcing you to clutch your head in pain. The throbbing makes your eyes blurry and soon you're bending your knees, pressing your palms against your temples to try and ease the pain. But the stubborn ringing continues and images start flashing before your eyes. Visions. But they're incomplete.

With the way Takemichi and you are interfering with each other's ability, you can confidentially say that it's due to your closeness. If he were a little further, maybe the ringing would stop.

When the pain doesn't go away you force your head forward, determined to pay attention to the fight.

"If we were still in the first timeline. You wouldn't have gone through all this trouble, Takemitchy." Mikey looks down, averting his eyes from Takemichi while speaking softly, his tone sounding almost. . .guilty. Your leader stares at Mikey with widened eyes, confusion written on his face while he asks what he meant.

"The dark impulse, born out of love."

For just a second his gaze softened before his eyes hardened and he locked them with Takemichi's. "He was just trying to save me. He went back in time to save me." Your ears perk up at the mention of time leaping, pupils shaking when Mikey finishes his sentence.

"Sano Shinichirou is a time leaper."

Before sighing out of confusion. You look around, seeing people gasp in shock or staring in surprise. Watching their expressions change makes you feel a little left out as you don't have a clue who he means.

"Who?"

And not long after Mikey begins to explain the original timeline, talking about Shinichirou, his brother, as well as what happened to him. The words flow out of his mouth almost robotic, repeating them from the view of someone else.

It takes minutes before he stops speaking. Wakasa, someone you're unfamiliar with, chimes in shortly before returning to silence, letting the revelation sink in for everyone. "A couple days after you've gained the ability, he died." You fix your gaze back onto Mikey after having looked at Wakasa only to spot the familiar face of someone you know right past his body.

You gasp when you see both Rindou and Ran standing, watching and listening with a similar expression as everyone else. You want to run towards him but your knees buckle beneath your weight, the soreness of your body finally kicking in and weakening your muscles. You don't even hear Mikey's words anymore. The ringing too loud to ignore, your aching muscles too hard to move and your eyes blurring too much too see. You simply can't do it anymore. You can't stand, can't speak, can't listen.

You can't even run up to Rindou. Not like you know what to do or say anyways. Whether you should slap or kiss him and whether or not to drag him by the ears.
