After the little secret exchange, you and Vi did seem to get to know one another better. Slightly. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day, and nor was a strong friendship. Besides, it had only been two days of knowing the girl.
Getting to know one another took time and experience.
And you were happy with that knowledge, that just meant you'd get to spend time with her and the rest of them.

Now, the 6 of you were compliantly heading in the direction of a food bar. The lot seemed to know the place very well, but of course, you were the odd one out, never having been to the specified restaurant.
Unbeknownst to any of you, all of you had spent a little bit more time than expected at the practice.
Mylo and Claggor ended up going on a spin on the motorized, spinning-thingy, Powder and Ekko ended up creating a beautiful mural that consisted of adorable little scribbles, and you and which Mylo called you and Vi simply conversed.
She was a great conversationist, which didn't surprise you in the slightest. This girl just kept on getting better and better by the minute.

Though, this long time spent entertainingly caused all of you to end up hungry, so now you were heading to a food bar of sorts. It sounded good, and you trusted Vi's judgment. In the amidst of the conversation between you two, she commented that she was a foodie, and that she actually loved to cook.
Of course, you couldn't cook for shit, and that earned a hearty laugh from the pink haired girl.
"I'll teach you someday."

But of course, your lack of knowledge on how to cook was not your fault. Nor was your ignorance about local food cuisines in the Undercity.
The food back at the lab was... interesting, to say the least. Consisting of slop and strange meats that you didn't bother looking too much into, you were left with a bland palette of sustenance.
Silco would not bother to get tasty food, he just got 'nutriments' to get on by and survive off of.
You couldn't judge him in the slightest, he was a man juggling with a powerful innovation and a 15-year-old adoptive daughter, it was the most he could provide you with.

"Have you ever been to this place before, Y/n?"
asked Ekko, his brown eyes peering at you.
"No, actually."
You replied, offering a shake of your head.
His brow raised in suspicion, as if he was secretly judging you, before turning to look at Powder in confusion.
"Where'd you say you found her?"
He whispered to the girl, causing you to breathe out a laugh silently.
Given the reaction, it was best to assume that the place was very well known, and that you gave the impression of a bore.

"Remember, she lives under a rock."
Replied Vi, having a smug look under her face.
"No kidding." Chimed in Mylo, who rolled his eyes at your presence. You couldn't tell if the guy secretly liked you or hated your guts, but you didn't bother worrying.
"Shut it, Mylo."
"How come you get to joke about that but not me?!"
"Because I'm Vi. And I'm the best of the best, not you."
Mylo practically deflated at her comment, but still had a glare on his face regardless.
Vi simply kept on walking with a triumphant look on her face, hands in her pockets.
You trailed along all of them, eyes wandering to every corner and alley in awe.

Until your gaze landed on a particularly crowded area, a strong aroma of food wafting through the air.
It smelled delicious, unlike anything you'd smelt before.
"We're finally here, thank Janna. I would not able to wait any minute longer."
Muttered Vi, turning to look at you, as the others were already in the colorful booth with anticipation.
"Shit! I forgot to bring money."
You stated, completely disregarding what Vi said and entering a state of panic. No wonder the pouch slung over your shoulder was empty, you'd forgotten to grab up a few coins from Silco's 'allowance'.
"Damn, tough luck. Seems like you won't be eating today."
She replied with a rather evil smirk on her face, and that just made your face heat up in embarrassment.

How could you be so stupid?! The one time you don't bring your money is the one time you need it.
Your thoughts came to a halt when she let out a rather loud laugh.
"Jeez, you're so gullible! I'm only joking, Y/n, don't take half of what I say seriously. Don't worry, It's on the house."
"What?! I can't let you do that-"
"Yes you can, because I said so."
"No."
"Uh... yeah."
She stated, grabbing your hand and pulling you along with force.
