~ Chapter 17 ~

Nihyo's POV

*Yawn* What time is it? 7:53

Nihyo - I'm gonna be late!

Nihyo rushes downstairs with her shoes half on. She runs into the kitchen and grabs a piece of toast, stuffing it into her mouth. She sees Mrs. Kim sitting down.

Mrs. Kim - Oh you're up early. What's the rush?

Nihyo - I'm gonna be late for school! Sorry, bye Mrs. Kim!

Mrs. Kim - W-Wait Nihyo, it's Satur-

The door slams shut.

Mrs. Kim - Oh dear. Bobby!

Bobby - What! I'm tryna sleep!

Mrs. Kim - Could you run after Nihyo please? She forgot it was Saturday.

Bobby - Aish. This girl.

Bobby groggily walks downstairs and puts slippers on. He opens the door and walks outside screaming for Nihyo.

Bobby - Nihyo!

Is that Bobby?

Bobby - Hey! Pabo!

Pabo?!

Nihyo stops and turns around, running back to Bobby for revenge.

Nihyo - Who you callin pabo?! Pabo!

Bobby - H-Hey, wait. Slow down.

Nihyo runs full speed ahead and tackles Bobby to the ground.

Bobby - Owwww

Nihyo sits on Bobby waiting for him to say sorry.

Bobby - Hey get off of me!

Nihyo - No. Not until you say sorry.

Bobby - I didn't do anything, so get off!

Nihyo - You know what you did. Say. Sorry.

Bobby - No.

Nihyo - Say it.

Bobby - No!

Nihyo - Well. I guess we're gonna be here all day.

Bobby - Uggh. Wait. What am I doing?

Bobby lifts Nihyo up off of him and pushes her to the side. He gets up and dusts himself off.

Nihyo - Hey!

Bobby - Sorry. I forgot that I'm stronger than you.

Nihyo - Wait. School!

Nihyo tries to run back again but Bobby grabs her hand before she could.

Nihyo - What are you doing! I'm already late!

Bobby flicks her head.

Nihyo - HEY! That hurt...

Bobby - It's Saturday.

Bobby walks back inside leaving Nihyo face-palming in the back.

Nihyo's POV

I'm so stupid. I woke up early for nothing. Today, I'm going to the police station. I need to start looking for my mom and sister.

Nihyo gets ready to leave. She tells Mrs. Kim that she's going over to a friends house and she won't be back till later. She arrives at the police station and greets the man at the counter.

Nihyo - Good morning.

Police man - Morning. Name?

Nihyo - Yoon Nihyo.

Police man - What's the problem?

Nihyo - Uhh no problem just.... Could you look up Yoon.... Yoon...

Police man - Yoon what?

Nihyo - I-I don't know her name.

Police man - I'm sorry but I can't find anything without a name. Good day to ya miss.

Nihyo - Wait!

Police man - Did you remember?

Nihyo - No.. but I would like a DNA test please.

Police man - Well sure but why would you want that?

Nihyo - I have a feeling I'm not who I think I am.

Police man - Okaaay, well fill out this paper work and we'll call you when we're ready for you.

Nihyo - Thank you.

Nihyo's POV ~ Walking back from the police station.

Police man - Miss. The results are here.

Nihyo - Could you read them to me?

Police man - Name: Park Ae Ni

Birth: August 8, 1995

Mother - Park Aelin { living }
Father - Park Joong Chan { deceased }
Sister - Park Yeoni { unknown }

Park Ae Ni- status- Missing since 1998

Police man - Excuse me but we'll need to bring you into further questioning. Come back tomorrow.

My dad is dead? How? I didn't even know who he was.... Wait. Yeoni is my sister?! She didn't tell me either! She must know where mom is. I have to talk to her next time I see her. Why can't I remember any of this?!

Nihyo steps inside the house with a distraught face. Walking up stairs like a zombie, she passes by Bobby.

Bobby - Uhh Nihyo? You okay?

Nihyo continues to walk to her room without taking a glimpse at Bobby.

Bobby - N-Nihyo?

She slams the door shut.
