Chapter 6: Called from the World

As Adrien recieves the call, he found out that this was from a number he familiarize.

"Where did that came from?," Joe asked Adrien.

"No clue, but I should answer it.," Adrien answered. "Here it goes."

As Adrien answered the call, and turns on the speaker, like he used to.

"Hey Adrien?," Jessica asked.

Adrien reconized the voice.

"Jessica, why did you called?," Adrien asked.

"I heard from the news that Marinette died.," Jessica said. She then asked that it was true.

"It was true.," Adrien sadly said.

"How awful it was for you then.," Jessica said. "We need to go, because we need to pack our things and go to Paris.," she added.

"Ok, then, thanks for informing.," Adrien said and ends the call.

"Who was that?," Joe asked.

"That was Jessica. Jessica Keynes.," Adrien answered. "One of our friends from New York when we went there couple of months ago.," he added.

"I didn't know you went to New York.," Joe said.

"Really?"

"I went there when I was in America, but I haven't meet them at all.," Joe answered Adrien's question. Suddenly, his phone was ringing.

"Fei?," Joe thought.

"You know her?," Adrien asked.

"Long story.," Joe said, then answered the phone call.

"Joe, I heard Marinette died, is it true?," Fei asked.

"You know Marinette?"

"Yeah. We became friend during her vacation here in Shanghai.," Fei answered.

"It's true, Fei. It's true.," Joe answered Fei's question.

"That's sad. I'll go to Paris as soon as I can.," Fei said. "Thanks for informing as well, Joe.," she added as she ended their call.

"So, you visited Shanghai before?," Adrien said.

"Yeah. It was another vacay for me. I thought I can go back to Manila, but my family might pleaded, and since I hate them so much after what they've treated me, so I went there.," Joe explained.

Suddenly, Joe's phone is ringing again. This time, it was Mario who is calling.

"Joe, thank goodness. Mattia heard something bad about Marinette, and I wanna asked that is it true?," Mario said.

"Who's Mattia?," Adrien asked.

"My friend. You're gonna meet them because my friends are joining me when I have a trip to Paris.," Mario answer.

"So Joe, is it true?," Mattia asked.

"Sì, era viro. It's true that Marinette died.," Joe answered.

"Ok, it was true.," Mattia answered.

"Thank you Joe for that.," Mario said.

"Anyday."

As Joe ends the call, Adrien asked something.

"How did you know Italian without Lila even knowing that?," Adrien asked.

"Well, translating and a little training.," Joe answered.

"Ok."

"I'll better get going. It's getting dark.," Joe said.

"It was. See you tomorrow, Joe.," Adrien said.

"You too."
