The next day, Joe woke up at his room with all of the people were gone in their respective rooms. Suddenly, he found Aeon in the balcony.
"Aeon, what is it?," Joe asked.
"Nothing. I just noticed how dark the clouds were in Paris this whole time, even thought it was not going to rain at all. Even the previous day when we arrived in Paris.," the robot answered.
"After Marinette's death, those dark clouds started to form, and it stayed for almost a couple of days now.," Joe explained.
Suddenly, Alya and Chloe arrived, and the rest of the gang were ready.
"Joe, Aeon, I thought you two are ready for the mourning?," Chloe told the two.
"Shoot, I forgot!," Joe shockingly said, and dressed up.
As all of the friends arrived in the Dupain-Cheng Bakery, they saw Luka and Juleka already there.
"Thank goodness you three arrived.," Luka swiftly said.
Joe then introdused Fei, Mario and his friends to the twins.
"Juleka, what time is it? Why the bakery is still closed?," Alya asked.
"I don't know. They said the doors are opened at 10 in the morning, but it's already five minutes late.," Juleka answered.
Speaking of the doors, Tom and Sabine officialy opened it. Formal introduction has been proceeded from the rest of the friends and when they went inside, the mourning was ready after some preparations the previous day.
The death of Marinette Dupain-Cheng really shocked the city, and her friends the nights before, and as the New Yorkers, Fei and the Italians knew it happened unfolding in their eyes, they were in shocked. During the noise, Tom approched Joe.
"Are you sure you know those Italians?," Tom asked, referring to Mario and his friends being pointed out as Lila's closest friends.
"Relax, Mr. Dupain, they're not friends with Lila. In fact, Mario was one of her victims, like Marinette.," Joe answered. Tom eventually said thanks after looking at Mario talking to Alya and Chloe.
Om the other hand, Mario was in a conversation with Alya and Chloe. He talked about what really happened to Marinette prior her death.
"What really happened to Marinette? Joe told me that she almost destroied this city because of Lila?," Mario asked.
"Well, she was transformed into a villain.," Alya answered.
"Wait, there were superheroes in Paris?"
"There were. I was actually part of it with Joe as the ones who got the tactics, like a coach in sports.," Chloe answered Mario's question.
Suddenly, Nicole also stepped in.
"Mio dio! Lila really got the nerve to do that to Marinette.," Nicole said.
"You said that.," Chloe said, agreeing to Nicole's words.
"After that, Lila was suspended to our class.," Alya added her word from earlier.
"And that's why she returned to Rome.," Mario added Alya's words.
Fei and Jessica also stepped in, and they also heard the conversation. Lorenzo and Mattia also heard it.
"I don't know she wanted to do this to Marinette. She was a sweet and lovely girl that have befriended by all the people she've meet with even us.," Jessica said.
"I mean, Lila wanted attension all by herself.," Lorenzo said.
"What do you mean, Lorence?," Chloe asked.
"Even since she arrived at our school, she wanted to be the most famous student there, and at that time Mario hold on to that title.," Lorenzo said. "And, of course, he told you that he almost got framed, and after Lila warned him, he started his investigation. He wasn't talked to us during those days, and when he finished it, we told him where here for him.," he added.
*flashback starts*
"Mario, were worried about you. What is going on yourself?," Mattia asked.
"I was investigating on Lila. You know, she's always warned me, and I have proof here here.," Mario answered.
"I also got a evidences on that!," Nicole added.
"Let's send this to the principal's office for this one. I'm sure Lila will be not liking this.," Lorenzo said and the friends laugh.
*end of flashback*
After lots of talk, Eva and Roger went inside the bakery, with Sabrina with them. The Raincomprixs stayed down, with the father talking to Marinette's parents and Sabrina talking to Chloe and Jessica. Eva, on the other hand, gave Joe a favor.
"Mr. Gibson, you need to follow me to Marinette's room.," Eva said.
Joe asked what was it.
"I discovered something in Marinette's room that I haven't touch, but it's an important information.," Eva answered.
"Ok, I'll go.," Joe agreed. He then asked Luka and Alya to keep the rest of the people down stairs while the two went up and to Marinette's room, and what Joe dicovered is something that he didn't noticed for.
