Prologue

"Your stupid for doing this alone" I scaffolded

"Would you rather them have proof that we've been working together?" Naksu questioned as she put her hat on

I lend on the chair as I chewed the piece of meat I was eating

"Tch there just a bunch of stupid mages" I muttered

She walked over and stool some of my rice, when she went for another bite I slapped her hand away

"What are you gonna do if there able to beat you" I questioned

She looked at me with a glare

"I'll just soul shift" she told me as she held up a clear ball

I poked the inside of my cheek with my tongue and nodded slowly before I stood up.

"Hm fine and if I get word of that then I'll come find you" I said

"How are you gonna be able to find me if I'm in a different body"

I laughed as little

"I'll be able to recognize your glare and attitude anywhere Naksu" I told her as I put my hat on the black mesh falling around me

"I'll be off" she told me

I adjusted my hat before grabbing my sword and walking out behind her

"Don't get yourself killed"

She chuckled and patted my shoulder

"No promises dove"

I rolled my eyes

"Yah when where alone call me by my name" I shouted at her as she ran off

I huffed as I left in the other direction, I stayed hidden in the shadows as I walked along the paths watching everyone I passed. I reached an inn and walked through the door, I walked up to the counter.

"I need a room"

The old lady nodded, she told me the room as I paid.

I walked up the steps into the room and put my stuff down as I jumped on the bed, I sighed as I looked up at the ceiling.

Time skip

"Did you hear that Naksu has been killed?"

"Really I heard she tried to soul shift and fail"

I glanced over at the two people whispering before I took off towards where Naksu should of been. Once I got to the water I went to the village and walked around before I spotted blood.

I walked over and dipped my finger in it before I stood up and looked at a woman

"Who's blood is that" I questioned

"The woman who tried to kill me" she told me

'Naksu looks like you ened up being to confident'

I used my energy to help me track her, after an hour I ended up at some house, I snuck in and hide in the shadows until I saw a weak woman, I scanned her up and down and grimaced.

'Such a weak body that's not Naksu it can't be'

I looked around and saw it was just us so I walked out and drew my blade and pointed it to her neck, but before I could speak the woman pointed something at my neck as well.

I glanced at what it was and saw a twig, I huffed as I put my blade away and crossed my arms and chuckled.

"I see you got yourself in a little bit of a problem"
