I bit my lip as I continued to scream at myself in the head to turn around and walk away, but against what my brain was screaming I brought my hand up and lightly knocked on the door.

"Yes?" A female servant asked

"I'm here to see lady Seo-jun" I told her as I bite my tongue

She nodded slowly

"Please come in and I'll go get her" she spoke as she stepped out of the way

I smiled lightly as her at I stepped inside, I tightened my grip on my sword subconsciously. I watched her disappear down the hallway, I sighed realizing I only had a few moments before I was faced to face with the woman I called my mother.

I shook my head lightly as I looked around the room trying to distract myself.

"What a surprise"

I cringe when I heard her voice but still put on a fake smile and turned around.

"Hello mom" I said trying my hardest to keep my voice from shaking

"So your calling me mom now" she said as she eyed me up and down

I smiled at her

"Sorry about before but you caught me off guard with your arrival" I lied

She hummed as she walked over to the table and sat down laying my sword beside me

"Please have a seat"

I slowly walked over and sat down watching her pour a drink, she pushed the cup towards me. I looked down at it as my instincts kicked, I eyed it for a few seconds longer before I looked back up at my mother.

"So how have you been Y/n" she asked as she took a sip of her drink

"I've been good" I said as I looked out the window

She hummed

"Look I don't know what you came here for but whatever it is your not getting it" she started

I blinked as I looked at her blankly

'And there she is'

"Ha I can grantee you came here for money" she said with a laugh

My eyes twitched at how lowly she thought of me because why would I come to her of all people for money that I don't even need.

"Trust me I don't need money and if I ever did I wouldn't come to you" I spat

Her eyes widen as she looked at me

"Did you just talk back to me?" She questioned

I tilted my head in a mocking way

"I don't know did I?" I questioned acting innocent

She scoffed

"Look here little girl-" she started but I cut her off

"Don't call me a little girl" I told her

He grunted

"Don't interrupt me when I'm speaking Y/n I'm still your mother which means I can punish you how I see fit" she told me slightly raising her voice

I snorted

"I'm just now realizing how funny you are" I told her with a giggle

She looked at me bewildered

"What?"

I gave her a sickly sweet fake smile

"You say that your still my mother but in reality you stopped being my mother the day you abandoned me" I told her as I looked at my nails
