It's 4:14 and I stretch my hand over the bed, where Kenya normally is

She never come in a the bed last night?
My paranoia instantly kicks in and I go downstairs, checking for her
She's in the sofa with Candice
Knocked out.
The Tv is still on but it's paused because Netflix is asking if they're still watching
MnM's are all over the couch
It's cute, seeing her like this.
I pick her up, taking her to our room

she slightly opens her eyes and smiles when she sees me
"Wah happen?" She says in a sleepy tone
"Nothing, gwan back go sleep"
I say before kissing her on her forehead
She gives a weary smile
"Love you" She says before closing her eyes

She said it but it doesn't shake me.
Maybe because I know she's sleepy
I sigh before laying beside her, pulling her closer to me

She knows what I do and I'm grateful she accepts me.
But she's not aware of how dangerous it is just by being around me

Her alarm goes off and it wakes both of us
She gets up, rubbing her eyes before looking at me
"You can sleep. I'll drive to work today" She says with a smile
"No, me have a business meeting. We a leave together" I say and she furrows her brows
"Aaron, Come on, what about you taking a break?"
"Relax bbz, Tonight is the grand opening for my lounge. Mi just need fi go sign some documents"
"Really?" She asks
"Yeah, just a place to relax at nights, perfect for birthday celebrations and little events. It's not for partying. Tonight a the only party and a because it's the grand opening"
"Okay, so you a leave me a the house by me self?" She asks
Before I could answer, there's a knock on the door

"Morning. Me a go leave now."
" You have work?" Kenya asks
"Yeah, mi need fi go home and change"
