I just got back in from lunch, Mr Brown is giving me a warm fucking time

I love what I do but if you don't have a good boss then it really makes no sense because the work atmosphere is so negative and strict.
Soon say fuck this and call it a day
I sit around my desk going through files when the door flies open
"I'm bacckkk" Candice says with a wide smile before lifting her blouse, showing her small baby bump
My jaw drops and I manage to let out a scream but not loud enough for the 'boss man ' to hear
She runs towards me with her arms stretched open until she reaches me
"You ok?" I ask in the middle of the hug
She nods and I smile
I pull back after a minute and I look at her
"So are you going to tell me what happened?"
She lets out a sigh
"No, fi some reason Aaron nuh wah tell yuh and the same for D"

"How this have anything fi do with Aaron?" I ask
"Full time now yuh accept who yuh man be" She says and my smile fades
"Yeah but based on what I heard..... Something happened and you had to leave the country...The reason for you leaving have something fi do with him as well?"
"Let's not talk about this please. Me finally take me mind off a it. That irrelevant right now" She says and I nod
"Alright...When yuh land?" I ask
"Couple days ago" She replies
We hear a knock on the door and I get up to open it
"Ms. Simonds?" The police officer asks
"Yes why?" I reply
"I'm officer Clarke and this is Officer McConnell, We just need to ask you a few questions about the situation that happened with Mr Grey."
"May I ask who is Mr Grey?"
"Tevin Grey" Says Mr McConnell

I look back at Candice and she shakes her head no
