I'm sitting in the dark on the couch and she comes out of her room

She walks into the kitchen and I curl up like a ball, hoping she doesn't see me

"Kenya wake up, yuh nuh have work?" I hear my mothers voice and I jump up

I dig through the couch for my phone to check the time and I finally find it under the cushion

"Mi cyah go a work now...the man nuh kill me?"

"Me hear yuh alarm go off and it normally wake yuh, so me think yuh wake and a ready. Me not even know say a in a the couch yuh drop asleep"

I let out a deep sigh

"Why were you in the couch?"

"Me drop asleep this morning a wait pon Aaron"

"You and yuh man problem" My mother chuckles before going to the kitchen

It's like she live in a the kitchen

"I'm moving today" She says and I nod

"A clothes alone yuh have fi move. The house fully furnished right?" I ask

"Yeah, so me a go drive yuh car"

I nod before going in the elevator

I scroll through my call log for my assistant's number
"Yuh know say all now me cyah remember her name" I say to my self before I call

"Good morning" She answers

"I won't be able to come to work today, I'm not feeling well, I'm going to the doctor. Please let Mr Brown know"

"Alright" she says before hanging up

I walk out of the elevator and I go to the room

I check to see if he's online
