Kenya's POV* | 5:12p.m
"Girl we nuh need fi waste money pon liqour. I have cases of liquor in the storage room at my house" I tell her and she shrugs before putting it back
"Alright, let's cash now" She says and we join the line
....
"Eighty-nine thousand dollars" The cashier says and I widen my eyes
"Mi bomboclaat, eighty-nine thousand?? Fi wah??" Britney voice my thoughts as she looks at the goods being packed
The cashier is silent and I chuckle
I take my card from my purse and hand it to her.
"No man. Mi can bet the food nuh last we the likkle two days we deh a the place"
"Girl yuh sure? Mi feel like a scam" She whispers in my ear and I laugh
"We get chop then cause mi cyah badda fi go a next supermarket" I tell her
It's true though, We got little to nothing because we won't even be there for long......
I look over to side where it's being packed and there's only two boxes.
Two boxes of basically nothing take off almost a hundred thousand.
Wow.
"Nosah, mi sorry fi the future children.....All mackerel a guh stretch the parents pocket" Britney exaggerates and the cashier finally laughs.
She hands me the card machine and I put in the pin.
She gives me the card, along with the receipt when it's finished and I place it in my bag.
"How much should I give you?" Britney asks me and I shake my head no
"Girl-" I say and she chuckles
We leave the supermarket and the helper packs the boxes in the trunk.
Shit, I don't have any cash.
"Here" I hear Britney and I look up
Two thousand dollars.....
He smiles at her before telling her thanks and leaving.
"Alright now where to?" I ask
"Buy clothes" She says and I nod
I don't need any, since my closet is filled with clothes I've never touched but I'll take the drive out.

The next day | 6:45a.m
"Babes" I hear him call, waking me up from my sleep
"Ready so me can drop yuh off before me go a the airport" He says and I pout
"So early?" I ask, the bright light in the room causes me to squint.
"Come nuh killa, me nuh wah yuh guh Portland by yuh self"
"Britney would just-" I begin but he cuts me off
"Get up" He simply says before walking away
I throw my head back with a scoff before getting up.
I spread the bed, then head to the bathroom and begin getting ready.
8:07p.m
"About to leave now" I send a message to Britney before getting inside the car
"Yuh have everything?" He asks and I nod
"I still don't understand why we have to leave this early" I tell him as I buckle the seat belt.
