"The entire house looks good" I tell her and she smiles

"Cut up the chicken fi me please. I can't do it" She says and I make my way to the kitchen

"Did you figure out where you want to begin?" I ask and she she shakes her head no

"I haven't had the time to think about it but I'll know tomorrow."

"If you're getting an assistant run her by me first"

"Ok Daddy" She replies

"Careful" I say and she chuckles

"Is Amir coming tonight?"

"Most likely....Everything he said seems to check out. Can give him a chance"

"You should...And please don't put him in what you have going on..." She says and I raise my eyebrows feigning I didn't hear her

"Hmm?" I ask

She hisses and I chuckle

I finish cutting up the chicken and I wash my hands

"Easy ting this fi Mrs. Jones enuh, why won't you allow the woman to do her job?"

"Why you always have a problem with me cooking? You don't like my food?" She asks and I couldn't help but laugh

"Yuh know if Candice ok?" She asks and I ignore her before leaving the kitchen and taking a seat in the couch

I look over my shoulder at her and I know she took offense to it.

"Leave Candice weh she deh" I tell her but she doesn't reply

A text message notification from Saeed comes in and I check it.

"4:00"
It reads

I don't want 40 million. Me want the full 80.

"Don't come back until it reaches 8:00"
I send

Saeed is still up there, trying to retrieve my money.

Our digital conversations should be normal until he gets back.
