It was drizzling outside when Sister Bellamira had met with Rain outside the ghoul corridor to meet for breakfast. Usually this weather brought out the best for her friend but instead he seemed cranky. Which was more typical for Dew but not for this timid ghoul who was cradling his head, his goggles fogging up from the huffing.

"You okay there, Rainy?" Bellamira paused and rested a hand on his shoulder trying to soothe him. Her voice causing him to glance down to see the concern etched on the human's face. Admittedly Rain felt guilty for running his mouth to Papa Emeritus but was trying to blame it strictly on the wine. Considering he couldn't last time when he told Swiss who was doing an awfully good job keeping it hush hush.

"I had too much to drink with Papa last night." Rain groaned but motioned for them continue walking. If Bellamira didn't get dibs on the waffles that morning then he'd have to hear about it all week. This was him speaking from experience when the kitchen was fresh out of them last Wednesday.

"Cardi drinks?" Mira questioned. That just seemed suspicious especially with how that man acted yesterday when interrogating her.

"Come to think of it, no not really." Rain knew better next time. Granted this entire mess meant some assistance in getting Swiss and Mira closer. Did that mean he deserved this horrendous headache? If it meant his two oblivious friends got together then yes but it didn't mean he couldn't bitch about it.

"Okay, tell me why Cardi is walking towards us with that weird look in his eye with Swiss?" Mira instantly froze next to Rain. Trying to hide behind the tall water ghoul was redundant when Cardi had made direct eye contact with her. Almost as if telling her if she didn't stay put then he'd get her in trouble with Sister Imperator.

Mira wasn't a child anymore but that threat still invoked instant dread. Rain wasn't much help with him muttering shit repeatedly under his breath before the two stopped in front of them.

"Sorella, you look uh bright eyed this morning!" Cardi laughed off how starry eyed the girl already was looking at the ghoul next to him. Rain hadn't been kidding about how dazed Bellamira could be around his ghoul who had slyly moved closer to her.

"Sweetheart, you're looking adorable this morning." Swiss leaned towards her noticing the familiar floral scent. It was something the ghoul noticed at the party when Mira was dancing against him and his mouth instantly watering at the smell. He had asked Rain about it previously but was surprised when he informed him that she didn't wear anything of the sort.

"S-Swiss! Great morning um good, it's good morning." Mira internally face palming. Rain however didn't hold back a groan before trying to mask it as a cough. However it didn't seem like Swiss minded, his claw running down the loose strand of hair out of her veil.

"It's definitely a great morning seeing you." Swiss smirked while twirling the hair around his finger. Mira held in her breath as the ghoul inched closer to her face. Finally she could see his eyes behind the goggles with him being so close up and tried not loosing herself in them. Cardi let out an awkward cough before motioning for Rain to stand alongside him to leave.

"Sorella Bellamira could you kindly show Swiss the dining hall?" Cardi knew that Rain was escorting the girl to breakfast per usual. If he was being honest, he was surprised that nothing ever happened between the two friends but it was strictly platonic. Rain even going as far to state that Mira was like a sister to him and kept her protected within the clergy.

"You don't know where the dining hall is?" Mira chewed softly on her bottom lip. Swiss' attention dropping to her lips and tail flickering at the action.

"I must've forgotten, can you show me honey?" Swiss had been instantly curious when Papa had come to him with a plan to get Mira to open up a bit more. Thus allowing an opportunity to grow closer to the oblivious woman who caught his attention long ago.

"I was suppose to have breakfast with Rain?" Bellamira glanced over to the water ghoul who was wavering her off. Something was definitely going on here and there was a sneaky suspicion those two had a hand in it.

"I'd be more than happy to feed you, darling. Let's go-" Swiss rested a hand gently on her back and guided her down the corridor. Rain sent a silent prayer to the Dark Lord as the human glanced back at him. He could sense her nervousness but also excitement over the fact Swiss was giving her so much attention.

Rain knew that Swiss wouldn't push things too far unless Mira allowed it. But sometimes the ghoul got a little ahead of himself. Rain cursed himself for not warning his friend beforehand but knew in the back of his mind that she wouldn't be that upset. And if she was angry with him later, Rain knew it wouldn't last that long and would be gushing over his brother in no time.

Most of the congregation had stared at them as the both of them entered the dining hall. It wasn't unusual for ghouls to have relationships within the church but those were strictly sexual. Except for the friendship between Bellamira and Rain which got many clergy members talking at first. However with how Swiss was leaning into the woman grabbing breakfast and resting a hand against her back made the sisters question the new 'friendship'.

Bellamira's attention however was on the delicious vanilla scent of the waffles. Plus the feeling of Swiss' hand resting on her back was slightly distracting.

"Well that's all there is to the dining hall." Mira found an empty seat away from the other sisters. Swiss again surprising her by taking a seat and pulling it closely to her own. The butterflies in her stomach not settling since leaving the corridor. Her eyes bounced around the hall trying to distract herself from the fact that Swiss was toying with her hair again.

"Are you already looking for a way to run away, little rabbit?" Swiss teased. Her attention turning towards him to disagree adamantly in hopes to not frighten him off.

"I don't mean to run away from you." Mira couldn't keep herself focused with how Swiss was looking down at her. His fingers now gently going down the length of her neck admiring how soft and untouched it was. He'd be glad to change that with permission but knew it'd take some time which wasn't an issue when it came to having Bellamira.

"I do like chasing after you, honey, but you're hard to catch sometimes." Swiss watched as her cheeks flushed a light pink. Mira tried faking interest in the waffle to cool down the warmth in her face. Instead Swiss tilted her chin up by the tip of his claw to look back at him.

"You're so pretty when you blush, Mira." In comparison to all his pet names, Swiss calling her by name sounded better than anything else. It was the first time since his summoning that he had and that was only because it was their first meeting in front of a whole congregation. In that moment, Swiss felt he perhaps made some progress with the very timid girl and that alone was already satisfying him.
