"Sir Abuegas left for an urgent appointment so he can't make it on time today.. I'll be the one to supervise your class. Nag-iwan siya ng activity para sa inyo," ani ng nagpikilala bilang student assistant ng teacher namin sa computer class.

Nasa computer lab kami ngayon pero wala pa sa kalahati ng klase ang narito. Recess kasi bago ito kaya't nasa labas pa ang iba. It's still quite early too.

The student assistant placed the pile of papers on the teacher's table. Base sa ID lace niya ay Grade 12 na siya. Halata namang upperclassman siya base sa height niya. She's pretty tall for a girl. Kung hindi siya naka-uniform tulad namin ay baka akalain kong college na siya.

"Paki-inform na lang yung ibang wala pa.. I'll be back," aniya bago lumabas.

Sumunod pa ang tingin ko sa kaniya hanggang sa paglalakad niya sa corridor. Her eyes were on her phone when she bumped into someone and dropped her things. I inwardly gasped when I realized it was Davion. Kasama niya si Adea at Elcid na kumain din yata kasabay niya.

Davion picked up the things of the student assistant and handed it to her. Matigas ang ekspresyon ng babae nang tanggapin iyon at walang sabi-sabing nagpatuloy sa paglalakad.

"Wow, salamat ha." an empty chuckle came out from Davion's mouth.

Napasinghap ako. I almost wanted to get out and snap at him. The lady halted on her steps. Her expression remained hard. I saw her releasing a deep breath with her eyes closed before carrying on her way.

Nakahinga rin ako nang maluwag. I knew she seems mature enough to handle situations. Swerte ni Davion at hindi na siya pinatulan! I wish I had the same level of self-composure as the student assistant!

Davion was still shaking his head when he entered the room and went towards me. He placed a bottle of coke on my desk and two pieces of a one peso coin.

"Sabi ko Coke zero. Diet coke!" reklamo ko nang makita ang binili niya.

"Anong diet coke, diet coke. Ano pati coke mo, diet?"

My face turned into a deadpan expression. Umikot ang mata niya.

"Wala! 'Yan lang ang meron don. Sabi ko kasi sayo sumama ka na lang,"

I can't believe him. Sa mga ganitong pagkakataon ay hindi ko maiwasang mamiss ang kambal. Dalawang linggo na rin ata ang nakalipas noong huli ko silang makita. They may have some resemblance with their brother physically but the girls are way nicer! Lalo na si Misha. Nisha is more on the quiet side but she's such a sweetheart too!

"How come dos na lang ang change ko?" tanong ko dahil sobra-sobra pa nga ang binigay ko.

"Bumili 'kong Monster," I then noticed the energy drink in-can he's been holding. "May pera pa 'ko sayo diba? Abonado pa nga 'ko,"

Laglag ang panga ko habang pinapanood siyang pabalik sa upuan habang binubuksan ang inumin. Akala mo'y kung sino nang umupo sa desk at nakisali sa usapan nila Elcid at Adea.

I can't believe him! Dapat nga ay nililibre niya 'ko. He must be the only guy who lets me pay. Other men would die just to treat me for a meal!

I sighed.

But then, it's not like I would love that. And Davion isn't any other guy. Mas mabuti na rin siguro na ganyan siya. I like that he's natural and that he's never trying to impress me. He's just keeping it real.

Bumalik ang student assistant at nagsimulang magsulat sa whiteboard. Amusement was evident on Davion's face when he learned that she was Sir Abuegas' student assistant for today. Tinaasan lang siya ng kilay ng babae.
