Chapter Twelve

A sigh escapes my lips as hot water runs through the curves of my body. I move my hands over my skin, making sure I am properly cleaned. 

My mind wanders to the woman I have been involved with so much. Moonbyul.. when she touched my waist yesterday it felt so.. Odd.. It felt like sparks were against my skin and my stomach went haywire.. The way she smelt yesterday..

Oh god, why am I thinking about her like this.. This is so creepy.. I must sound like an absolute weirdo..

I finish washing as I rid my head of these thoughts. I dry off, getting ready for today's schedule. I have another meeting with Rubis today. As I get ready my phone rings, speaking of the devil..

I answer, putting it on speaker.

"Hi Moonbyul"

"Saemiii~ Morning"

I pull on my clothing, making sure I look good.

"How are you?" 

"Im good, how are you?"

"Alright.. Do you know what todays meeting is about?"

I reply as I apply a small amount of make up. 

"Not exactly.. Something about social media I think"

I nod slightly as I finish up in the bathroom. I exit, holding my phone as we make small conversation. I move into the kitchen grabbing a snack and a water bottle.

"I will see you later Moonbyul"

After we say our goodbyes I end the call, slipping on my shoes. I grab my handbag putting the necessary things into it. Before I leave the apartment I take a quick selfie in our long hallway mirror. 

Good enough..

I go down the winding stairs, checking my phone every now and then. I smile softly as I exit the building. I take in a deep breath before I walk over to Haerin's car. I get in, greeting her. 

"Morning, just us today?"

"Good morning Saemi, yep it's just us. It's a pretty small meeting so not many people will be there"

I nod doing up my seat belt as we get ready and leave. I look into the mirror, making sure I look alright.

"Haerin? What exactly is this meeting about? I was on a call with Moonbyul earlier and she said something about social media?"

I look towards her, putting the mirror back in it's original place. 

"Ah, well she is right. todays meeting is about marketing your 'relationship' online. For example, posting couple pics, vlogging dates. Stuff like that"

I nod softly, glad to have some clarity on the situation. I look out of the window, losing myself in my thought. My mind wanders back to this morning. Why did I think of Moonbyul in that way..? It's never happened before.. So why now..? Nothing has changed.. And this is a fake relationship. I can't feel like it is real.. I'll be the only one in pain..

I smile slightly as we arrive at Rubis. I get out seeing people crowding around the entrance, calling Moonbyul's name. Seems she was just here.. I wait until Haerin is ready before we make our way over. I wave at some fans as they call my name. I stop as one fan holds out a book and a pen. I gently take it, nodding as she asks me for an autograph.

An autograph..? It's my first time giving someone an autograph..

I sign her book before giving it back. I follow Haerin into the building, my focus still on what just happened.

Someone wanted my autograph..? 

That was so..

Weird..

I look towards my manager as we get on the elevator. A grin rests on my face as realisation sets in.

I am becoming famous..

I exit the elevator, walking to the meeting room. As we make our way in we greet everyone there. I sit down watching as they get their things ready.

"Good morning everyone, I am glad you all made it. Today we are going to discuss social media and showing this relationship online. The four media platforms we will be focusing on are Weibo, Instagram, Youtube and TikTok. We would like you two to post photos, clips, videos and things like that. Livestreams are also in the list but are not a priority"

I nod softly taking all of this in. This feels less like a fake relationship and more like extra work.

"How exactly do we do this..?"

I look towards both CEO's, waiting for their answer. I probably look like a complete idiot asking this.

"Great question Miss Kim. Miss Moon has her own Instagram, Youtube and TikTok accounts so it is likely you will post on there. You will also get a personal Instagram account to post on. As for Weibo you will be able to post and share things there. We will not be too strict on what you post but we will monitor you. You two will be expected to do these things without much assistance"

I nod again, my thoughts cropping up. This should be fun right? It'll just be going on adventures together.

"What about livestreams? The last livestream was at my place so will it be different next time?"

I look towards Moonbyul as there is a short moment of silence until the conversation picks up again.

"Well.. The livestreams will be planned. We will include guest appearances as well. It will switch between being streamed on the Mamamoo account and the ISRY account. Now if you do not have any further questions our meeting is finished"

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding as I rise from my chair.

Time for practice..
