Chapter Thirty Four

Tears trickle down my face as my body moves on it's own. After that meeting I am a complete mess. My mind is all over the place, bad thoughts thriving in my current condition. I have been wandering for over thirty minutes and it hasn't gotten better at all.

I wipe my face as I make my way down the street, ignoring the burning pain that spreads throughout my feet. My mind is way too busy to accept the searing pain.

Sniffles rack through my body, making me slip down this stressful rollercoaster a little bit more. I go through my brain attempting to find a solution to this emotionally draining situation.

I ignore my phones vibrations, dead set on trying to figure myself out before talking to anyone. However the persistent vibrations get on my nerves. I stop my walking trance in order to get out my phone.

Tears once again swell I'm my eyes as I see Moonbyuls icon on my screen. I imedietly answer her call, bringing my phone to my ear.

"Saemi? Did you also have a meeting with your CEO..?"

I burst into a sobbing mess upon hearing the comforting voice of my girlfriend. I try to speak however nothing but squeaks leave my body.

"Saemi.. Where are you? I'll come to you"

I breathe for a second before telling her what street I am on. I sit on a nearby bench, awaiting my lovers arrival. I continuously wipe my eyes, trying to calm down the river of tears.

I rise from my position as I see Moonbyul park and hurriedly get out of her car. I grab my bag, rushing over to her. As soon as she opens her arms I delve in, burying myself in her warm embrace. My body shakes as I cuddle into her comforting form. Sniffles rack through my body as my girlfriends hand caresses my back.

"I know.. How about we go somewhere quiet and talk about this..?"

I look up to her gorgeous face as her hands move to my freezing skin, wiping away any falling tears. She is always so comforting.. I don't ever want to be without her..

I nod slightly, agreeing to her proposition. My arm links with hers as we wander, trying to find a relatively quiet place in this bustling city. A slight smile rests on my face as she brings me to a swing set in an empty playground. As we sit down I mentally prepare myself for this demanding conversation.

"Can you start..? I still need to calm down.."

I look to Moonbyul, watching her agree and start swinging slightly.

"Well I was doing some vocal training when I got called into the CEO's office. Obviously I went to his office confused. I thought it would be about my weight or my skills so I was very suprised when I was told it was about us. He told me that a staff member anonymously reported that we are in an intimate relationship, which I disagreed with because we are a secret.. Then he said we are are might have to be split up for the best interest of the companies"

I nod slightly at her similar experience. Who the hell is behind all of this..

"My experience was the same.."

I look up to the slowly darkening sky, letting out a gentle, stress filled sigh. I can't imagine now being with Moonbyul.. She has changed my life so much already..

"We can't let then get away with this.. We need to create a plan to show the fans that we are still together despite what our companies say.."

I swing a little higher thinking about Moonbyuls words.

"But what if it backfires and we truly can't be together.."

A soft pout rests on my lips as Moonbyul stands in front of me stopping me from swinging.

"We will stay together. I won't let anyone get between us I promise. And with the fans support we will get through this"

I smile slightly as she stands in front of my. I lean up, pecking her soft hand.

"Thank you.. For always being here for me.."

"Of course I am always here for you. I love you."
