Chapter Thirty Eight

I hum along to 'Crown' as we have it playing in the background while we are getting ready for our performance on KBS. Our outfits are shorter versions of our royal gowns from the music video. I tap my foot against the floor and I close my eyes for the make up artist.

"Is it normal to feel this nervous..?"

I pour softly as the make up artist giggles at my question.

"Of course it is normal"

I let out a soft sigh of relief as she replies to me. After a while we are all ready to perform. The last time we were here I met the woman that changed me.. That was so long ago..

When we get on stags we perform our first comeback for the first time ever. God it feels so good being on stage again.. I feel.. Alive.

However, it doesn't last long as we are already on our way back to our dressing room. I thank a staff member as she hands me my phone, telling me it went off while I was performing.

I look to my notifications, smiling softly seeing a message from Moonbyul.

My Love♡: I'm in the bathroom, come see me when you are done performing :)

I look towards the others after reading her message, putting my phone in my pocket.

"I'm just going to the bathroom quickly"

I smile as they nod, going back to our dressing room. I quickly go towards the bathroom. I move in, locking the door behind me. A grin rests on my face as I see Moonbyul. I quickly go to her, wrapping my arms around her.

I have missed her so much.. Due to us having a comeback I haven't had much time to see Moonbyul. I look up to her, kissing her lovingly. I stay close close her, happiness spreading throughout my tired body.

"I've missed you so much.."

I state up to her, smiling softly. I move her hair behind my ear, admiring her gorgeous face.

"I missed you too.."

A loving grin spreads on my face as she pecks my lips.

"Your performance was amazing.. And you look so good.."

I feel my face heat up and I move closer to her.

"Thank you.."

I watch her as her hand caresses my side.

"So.. Did you have any idea when we are going to do this livestream?"

I stare at her, slightly worried about our future today. We should probably do it before our companies break us up..

"I was thinking we could do it this Friday? It'll be your last day of promotions and our companies will be too busy to break us up. So it'll be prefect"

I nod softly, liking the date she has picked.

"Yeah.. That sounds good"

I peck her lips, not hiding any of my love for her.

"I should go.. The group probably thinks I'm having a shit or something..'

Giggles erupt from the both of us as we pull apart from one another. I stare at her gentle beautiful complexion, butterflies partying in my stomach.

"I guess I'll see you soon, good luck with your promotions. I just know you're going to win"

I smile softly and I peck her lips before leaving the bathroom. I move down the hallway towards our dressing room and I let our a soft sigh.

I hope the livestream goes well.. I can't help but be worried..

Worried about us and our future..
