"Para sakin po ba yan?" A kid stole my attention.
My brow rose up when I saw a familiar face of a kid. It's the same kid I almost hit with my car. He's pointing his fingers to those paper bags full of toys we bought.
"Yes." I answered and gestured them to show the kid what inside.
"Wow! Ang rami naman po nito!" His face lighten up as he received those toys.
"Hindi naman nya yan kailangan." The stone spoke, ruining the mood.
Ngumuso ang bata sa kapatid nya. "Ibabalik ko na po ba?"
My brows rose up more. I thought that kid will rant but he didn't. I guess he was raised well by his brother. I mean, my younger brothers are like that when we're still kids. Kailangan ko pang tutukan sila ng mga baril para lang tumigil.
"Ano ka ba naman, Shin. Hayaan mo na kami." Nakangiting sabi ni Mrs. Luna.
Umiling ito. "Malaki na po sya para sa mga laruan, Ma'am."
"Hoy, wala sa edad ang mga toys no! Si Knoxx nga may stuff toys pa rin e." Sabad ni V.
Knoxx deadpanned dut didn't argued. Shin remained looking at his younger brother na binabalik ang mga dala namin sa mga bag nito. I tsked and went near to the kid.
"You see, Shin. These are for him, sa kanya na 'to. Isn't it too impolite kung tatangihan nya? Beside, your brother seems to like them." I said and smiled to the kid.
His mouth form a little cute 'O' with a cute exaggerated gasp. Mukang naalala nya na ako.
"Kuya Lucy!" He happily exclaimed.
I smiled at his given nickname. "Hey there, kiddo. What happened to you?"
He pouted. "Sick kid things po."
I chuckled. "I thought you're strong?"
"Of course po! Pero may weakness pa rin po ako." Dahilan nya.
"Then get rid of it." I suggested.
"Anong gagawin nya? Papatanggal puso nya? Nagiisip ka ba?" Sabad ng kapatid nya.
My smile didn't fell, instead, it grew wider. I want to annoy him so bad.
"Shin!" Saway ng Manager nya.
"I thought you're a nursing student? Bakit hindi mo alam na nagagamot ang sakit nya?" I teased.
His face darken. I think I hit the nerve. Good job, Lucious.
"Shut up. Umalis ka dito. Hindi ka kailangan ng kapatid ko." Matigas nyang sabi.
"Kuya! Bad po yan!" Saway naman ng kapatid nya.
Nanatili syang blangko ngunit masama ang tingin sakin. Nakaupo lang sya at walang ibang ginagawa pero hindi ko maitanggi na bahagya akong natinag. Maybe because his aura's very heavy and this is beyond his normal face, blank and dark.
"Kuya, gutom na po ako." The kid once again broke the tension.
Shin immediately stood up and went to a table. Binuksan nya ang isang container at napatsk ng makitang wala na itong laman. Humarap sya sa Manager nya pinakamalapit sa kanya at nagsalita.
"Pakibantayan po muna si Vince. Bibili lang po ako ng pagkain sa baba." Sabi nito.
"Oo naman. Miguel, samahan mo sya." Utos nito sa lalaki.
"Hindi na kailangan." Tanggi ni Shin at lumabas na.
"Uh.." Napakamot na lang sa ulo si Miguel.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked the kid.
