29. Father Roast

A father, I always had
Never had a real dad
With him, I always was sad
Didn't know what it felt to be glad

He doesn't even bother if I live or die
He didn't notice when I cry in front of his eye
The only thing he says to me is hi
And, after that as a formality, goodbye
He was the reason whenever I did cry
And then said he cared, what an obvious lie
What do you want from me? At least specify
So that, the thing I could identify
Then, that damned thing, I could supply
Then, away from you, I could fly
Freely like a butterfly
Really far and absolutely high
And vanish into the night sky
But you won't tell me that thing, can I know why?
Now what? Are you feeling shy?
Answer! You ruthless, stone-hearted guy
Don't know what to say in reply?
Even the tears on my cheek have gone dry
I followed the principle just try and try
But you, I could never satisfy
I will ask you something, just don't lie
Didn't you want, on you, I should always rely
So that I was stuck with you and could never qualify
Me, into being with you, you could comply
You are worse than an animal, I verify
You as a father, I deny
You as a human, I deny!

Hey there, my lovely poem lovers! DrishKing008 is back with another poem for you hungry souls. I hope you enjoyed it.

This was a father's roast. Again, no offense to anyone. It's just a poem, so, don't take it personally if you find it offending in any way. 

It was another simple poem. So, not one of my favorites, but it's still not bad, I think. Let me know your views in the comments. I would be obliged to hear them.

In this poem, I had just tried to show a glimpse of a child's mind with a not-so-good father. I think I don't need to explain this poem as it was not at all deep but it's still a poem and with the time I get, this is not that bad. Sorry for back to back low poems. I will try my best to make the next one actually good, I will give it all the time I get, which is not much, but I will spare some time.

My vacations(of literally two weeks) are about to start in a week or so. I will polish my poems that time and give you guys a better version but for now, this is all I have got...Please don't mind the boring poems in between after all 'Stars can't shine without the dark'. I am pretty sure I messed up that quote but you get the point. Some bad poems will be there along with the good ones. I will try to reduce their frequency.
