I rushed to find Lana, then the bell rang for class. Fortunately, we had Science (Lab) class together for this period. While walking to the Lab, I texted Lana telling her that I'll meet her at class. I ran to the lab, and I saw Lana already there, she gave me a hug, and I recognized the "It's urgent" look on her pretty face.
"So, what did you wanna talk about?" I whispered.
"Well, you know, Steven asked Carrie to be his boyfriend and I'm—"
"Yeah, I know." Then , I explained Steve' s plan to Lana.
"No, Steve CAN'T do that!" She almost shouted.
"I mean, Carrie's going to be heartbroken!"
"No talking, Lana and Jay!" The teacher said sternly.
Everyone turned around to look at us, and Lana blushed.
"Sorry," I muttered.
"Tell Steve to properly be with Carrie! Doesn't he care that he's breaking someone's heart?" She texted me.
"But, I can't stop him!" I texted back.
"Yes u can! Ur his best friend!"
"Fine, we can talk after class." I replied.
"Ding dong, ding dong!" The bell rang and it was lunch time.
