June 5th, 1967 - July 1st, 1985
Crystal Sara Carter was the person responsible for the Brakenreid Prep Prom Murders.
Born to Edward Carter Jr , the former CEO of the multi-million dollar company Carter Trading , and Sara Harvey , a famous model, her parents were very distant. Her primary caregivers were various nannies hired by her mother. A young Crystal took this as not being good enough so she always did everything she could to make them proud. For around three years, one emotionally abused her, which did not do very good for Crystal's self-worth.
When she was fourteen, her parents sent her to Brakenreid Preparatory School, a private boarding school in the mountains of North Carolina. Due to her family, she very quickly rose up the social ranks. This seemed to make her mother a little proud, so Crystal continued trying to stay popular, making friends with Elizabeth "Lizzie" Micheal and Heather Williams, becoming a very popular trio within the school. Shortly thereafter, she met Remus Brown, who she would start dating early on in her senior year.
During her junior year, Crystal was crowned prom queen. When her mother received the news, she reached out to her daughter for the first time in three years. She congratulated Crystal, told her to keep up the good work and that maybe someday, she could be a model like her. Finally happy to have her mother's appreciation, Crystal swore from that day on to do everything and anything to be like her mother.
The next year, Josie Garcia got hit by a bus and rumors started swirling that she'd become prom queen because pity votes. Crystal didn't want that and neither did her mother, who visited her in her dorm and told her that she would not be coming home that summer if she lost her title as prom queen. No sooner had Crystal focused all her energy on becoming a prom queen. She pushed her friends and boyfriend away, begging for votes from her peers. Around this time, Crystal fell into a depression, but she pushed it away, because in her words
"A sad girl just can't be prom queen"
A week before the prom, Remus told her that he was taking Josie to prom. That was the last straw for her. With a hot date, pity votes and mental stability, Josie was sure to win. So Crystal decided to rid of the competition.
She gave Abigail Jenkins a poisoned fruit basket, she stabbed Janis McKnight right between the eyes, she drowned Georgia Johnson in a bathtub, then she cornered Josie in her dorm right as Josie was calling the police. By the time police arrived, Josie Garcia was dead. They found Crystal in the gym, wearing the prom crown and dancing around, laughing and crying. She was taken to an asylum.
Crystal Carter died on July 1st, 1985 due to dehydration.
