UNSOLVED

Isaiah Thomas Lane was an American teenager found dead after throwing a birthday party with some friends.

Isaiah Lane was born on October 7th, 1973. Only so much is known about his early life, but what is known that up until he was about ten, his family moved around a lot, due to his father's Military career. His father, Thomas Lane, retired when Isaiah was ten and the family settled in Topeka, Kansas.

For his sixteenth birthday, Isaiah arranged a party with some friends and agreed to have the party at one of Isaiah's closest friend's house, Marco Baker. seven other people attended the party. I've spoken to all of them and all but two asked to remain anonymous: Jessica Fields and Carter Sanchez.

They partied for awhile, late into the night. It was around 11:00 when Isaiah told his friends he had to go, as his mother, Maxine Lane, wanted him home by midnight. Jessica offered him a ride home, as she had her dad's truck with her, but Isaiah refused, saying it was a short walk to his house, only about twenty minutes.

So he walked away, with his friends waving at him. But unfortunately, Isaiah would not make it home.

About fifteen minutes after Isaiah left, an anonymous speaker and Carter brought up the idea to the group that they could go explore the abandoned house that was near Marco's. All agreed. After all, it was October, and even though the birthday boy was gone, there was no need to stop all the fun they were having.

So the party walked through the woods and checked out the abandoned house. It was when they would go in the basement that they'd regret everything.

There was Isaiah, with his torso slit from his pelvis to collarbone. As one anon described it, "his innards were strewn around the room like Christmas decor". There was also a flesh wound in his back, deep enough to expose bits of his spinal cord.

The panicked teens ran back to Marco's house and frantically called the police. To this day, Isaiah's killer has  not been found.

May Isaiah Lane rest is piece.
