Chloe Elizabeth Walsh was the youngest child of the influential Walsh family who went missing from a party in October 2019.
Chloe was born on February 13th, 2003 the second daughter, sixth child and youngest child of the influential Walsh family in Manhattan, New York. Chloe spent most of her life in the limelight.
Growing up, she often attended parties with her friends and her family. She was a troublemaker into her teenagers, often sneaking out to go to parties. One night, she snuck out to go to a party thrown by an upperclassman, Natasha Herrera.
It was a particularly crowded party, so for most of the night she hung around her boyfriend, Atlas Edwards, and her two best friends, Wendy Catherine and Adriana White. A few hours into the party, Chloe went off to the bathroom and didn't come back. Atlas, Wendy and Adriana began looking around for her after about forty minutes, but they found no trace of her. All three of them tried calling and texting her to no avail.
"It was absolutely horrifying," Wendy said in an interview from early 2022. "We weren't sure if she was completely fine and just left without telling us or if something had happened."
The three of them went around the party, asking if they'd seen her. Nobody knew where she'd went except for a senior who has asked to remain anonymous. He claims he saw Chloe, quite drunk, talking to a tall, dark haired man. Did not look like a teenager, maybe early to mid twenties. But he didn't see if they went anywhere.
At some point during the night, police were called due to a noise complaint and this is when Atlas, Wendy and Adriana talked to the police about how Chloe had vanished. The police call the Walsh parents, Erik and Louisa Walsh, asking if she'd come home. After a check of her room, they determined that she was not.
The police, Walsh parents, Walsh siblings, Atlas, Wendy, Adriana, all of them tried calling Chloe. At one point, almost four hours after she disappeared, she answered one of Wendy's calls. Over the phone, Wendy heard Chloe slur a hello before the phone shut off.
For months, police searched New York state looking for her but found nothing.
In January 2021, a Chicago man who also asked to remain anonymous claims he saw Chloe in the Willis Tower, eating at a table with a tall, dark haired man. But, once again, nothing came of this.
A few months later, in May of that same year, Chicago police received a call. The following is a transcript:
OPERATOR - 911, what's your emergency? CHLOE - Hello, my name is Chloe Walsh, I was kidnapped a couple years ago in Manhattan, I was at a party, he took me, please you have to help me OPERATOR - Okay, Chloe, can you tell me where you are? CHLOE - I'm in his apartment, I don't know the address OPERATOR - alright, sweetheart. We can trace the call. Wh- MAN - Hey!
After that, the operator, Maxine Huang, heard Chloe screaming and the line was lost. Police managed to trace the call, but by the time they did and got there, he was gone. The man who lived at the apartment was named August Williams. He had no previous criminal record, save for an underage drinking charge from when he was nineteen, which he paid a fine for.
