Harper Born June 15th, 2002
Hazel Diane Kelley and Harper Joy Quinn , now going by the names Romi and Amber , were two girls kidnapped from the same hospital on the same day.
Both girls were born in Clear Meadow Hospital in Sacramento, California on June 15th, 2002. That very same day, they were reported missing after being taken by Ford and Adrianna "Adria" Verity, a couple whose own child, Casey Felicity Verity, had died just a year earlier at the age of three.
Harper was renamed Ambrosia "Amber" Crystal Verity and Hazel was renamed Andromeda "Romi" Opal Verity. They were both raised as members of the Verity family in a cabin in the middle of nowhere.
Both were girls emotionally and physically abused by their 'parents'. On October 2nd, 2016, when police found the girls, both Verity parents had been out of the country for a week and Romi was so ill that she was unconscious when found by the police. This , combined with Amber's police testimony , served as evidence of their abuse. There is currently an active warrant out for the arrest os Adrianna and Ford Verity.
Today, both Amber and Romi have been reunited with their biological families, though the two kept in very frequent contact with another and still consider the other to be their sister. Today, both are roommates attending CSU in Sacramento.
