"What were you doing with her?"
"She was gossiping with Xander and they begged me to join."
"Then why were you pushing each other."
"You are welcome to do it as well."
"You don't understand"
"What don't I understand?"
I decided it was best to walk away I shouldn't have been listening in the first place. But instead, I walked towards the conversation I wanted to go to Avery anyways.
"Hi guys, I'm just passing through to find Avery. You wouldn't happen to know where she is?"
There was no response.
"I didn't think so bye boys." I smiled back at them and walked towards Avery's wing. I walked through the doors and knocked on her door.
"Avery?"
"You can come in"
I walked into her room. It was a room like mine but the walls were covered in awards.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, we haven't spent much time together ever since we came here."
"You're right. Let's have a girl's night and invite Libby as well."
"Maybe not tonight."
"Why not?"
"I just came back from gossiping with Xander and Grayson for these past few hours. That is why I didn't eat dinner."
"Are you hungry?"
"No, I ate so many scones."
"What flavor?"
"Blueberry."
"He only gives me the lemon ones."
"I'm sure he will give you the blueberry ones someday."
