Missed Timing

Chapter 19

    I woke up to the sound of my cellphone. I grabbed it from the table and checked it, I had 5 missed calls from Jesy and 3 messages. I checked them and one was from Jesy, Perrie and the other was from Louis.

From: Perrie♥

        Got drunk last night. Bring me anvil please. :(

    From: Jesy♥

        I love you Jadey! Beem puking since I woke up... like 4 am I think. :( Anvil please!

    From: Louisx

        Hey forgot to ask you about the call you made. Maybe you can tell me about it later.

Oh no! He's going to ask me about the call. What will I say? Stupid me for calling him like that! Now I had to think of a way to explain it to him. I am screwed!

    I had a good feeling about today, I haven't really moved on but they are right, I had another chance with Jade and whatever she might tell me, I'm still going to do my best to show her how much I care, I won't force myself on her, I'll just show her that she is loved.

    I was walking to the choir room when I saw her laughing with Perrie and Jesy. I sat beside Zayn.

    "You seem happy." Zayn teased

    "A little."I admitted

    "Excited for the Talent Show?"Zayn asked

    "Yeah, you?"I asked

    "Not even a bit."Zayn answered making me laugh

    "HEY DUDES!" Niall said with a snap back.

    We tried our hardest not to laugh but Zayn and I eventually laughed hysterically

    "What?"Niall asked

    "You look like a white kid trying to be ghetto" Zayn told him

    "A really white kid trying to be gangster."I told him

    "Hey don't tease him."Liam said taking the snap back from Niall's head

    "But yeah Niall, don't." Liam told him making me and Zayn laugh even more.

    "Hey why you all laughing?"Harry said as he barged in

    "Niall."Zayn pointed

    "With Liam's hat on."I added

    Harry then started laughing.

    "Golden!" Harry screamed

    "FUCK YOU ALL!" Niall said walking towards Jesy

    "Oh Niall."Zayn sighed

    I then stood up and said sorry to Niall who just ignored me, typical Niall. He'll eventually cool off, I then sat beside Jade.

    "Hey, can we talk?"I asked and she nodded but before we could go and talk Mrs. Kelly entered and asked all of us to show her our Talent Show plans privately.

    "Louis nad Jade." she called out as Zayna nd Perrie left the room

    Jade and I entered the choir room where Mrs. Kelly and the pianist Mr. Cole waited

    "So what will you be doing?" Mrs. Kelly asked

    "We'll be singing." I told her.

    "Okay then have you two practiced?" she asked again

    "Yes." Jade answered

    "Let's hear it then."Mrs. Kelly said

    We started singing then Mrs. Kelly stopped us.

    "You two have to be at the ends of the stage then slowly walking towards the center. This song needs a build up. And I want you two to feel the song, not just sing it. Tell the story of this song to the audience."she told us and we nodded.

    After a few more pointers we left the room and Harry entered with Liam.

    "So can we now talk?"I asked Jade

    "Louis, I... I'll tell you after the Talent Show okay?" she told me and I nodded.

    "Okay. I'll wait for you."I told her with a smile which she returned.

    I wasn't ready, I was still scared to tell him what I felt but I knew I needed this out of my system, I needed to finally be honest with him and to myself. I just don't think this moment was right. I had to choose the perfect timing...

    "Louis..." I said but then Bridgit called him

    "LOUIS!" Bridgit screamed as she ran towards us.

    "Yeah?"Louis asked

    "Help me! I asked the AV club to help me with a little project but they totally screwed up."Bridgit said

    "What happened?"he asked

    "The video montage is all jumbled up."Bridgit explained

    "Go ahead."I told them and Louis nodded

    Yeah, it wasn't the right timing, there was too much happening right now. I watched them walk together and they did look good together. I'll just have to wait another day, I just wish it isn't too late... How I wish I wouldn't be too late...
