Chapter 24

"There's something about the sunshine baby! I'm seeing you in a whole new light!" I started singing as Louis and I went to the auditorium

"I love that song." Louis said as he held my hand

"Are you auditioning for the musical?" he added. It was out free period and we decided to hang out at the auditorium.

""I might, let's try out! Its an original musical! Jesy wrote the songs." I said

Jesy was a really talented girl, all around too. She loved heading clubs while Zayn and Perrie were the artists, Louis and I were the goofballs and Niall was usually the responsible one.

"But how about our school's assembly? I suck at memorizing lines." Louis admitted

"The assembly will just be a song. Come on, and the assembly is next Friday. The Musical is not until next month. Audition with me please." I said and he simply smiled and nodded

"Fine, but we must be the leads." Louis said being all competitive.

It was the day of the assembly and as a prize Jesy and Niall were the lead singers for this one. They sang "One Love (People Get Ready)" and it was amazing. The assembly was also amazing, they talked about Cyberbullying at the assembly and on how it can be prevented and how one can help.

"Now this will be an initiative, this giving birth to the Cyberbully : The Musical" Mrs. Kelly said at the end of her speech

"Oh audition schedules will be posted, I do hope a lot of you join, it could bring awareness and it could really help stop Cyberbullying." she adds before leaving the podium.

"We'll be auditioning." Louis proudly said

"Guys yes, please join. I wrote my heart and soul into those songs!" Jesy responded

" Well Mrs. Kelly already asked me to head the props department." Perrie admitted

" I'll audition." Niall said making Jesy smile

"I might help at the props." Zayn said making Perrie hug him.

"Don't your hopes up losers!" Chelsea said as she got down of the bleachers.

"We'll show her!" Jade muttered and they all got down the bleachers.

"Okay good afternoon everyone, I and Ms. Nelson will be your judges in casting the right parts." Mrs. Kelly said

"First up the role of Cara, Chelsea Baker." Mrs. Kelly called out

Chelsea stood up and sang one of the songs in the Musical

"Someday, someone will see, what beauty lies within and every moment that broke me will simply fade." Chelsea sung

"Now do Scene 3 please." Mrs. Kelly said

"Craig, it's too late! People have seen everything! This is a nightmare!" Chelsea said then cried

"Damn she's good." Jade whispered

"You'll do better." Perrie whispered

"Thank you Chelsea. Next, Jade Thirlwall." Mrs. Kelly screamed

"That's how acting is done, twerp." Chelsea saida s she passed Jade

"Okay sing for us." Mrs. Kelly said

"Someday, someone will see, that beauty lies within and every moment that broke me will simply fade. Cause somehow, somewhere, someone feels the same. Alone, and misunderstood, not knowing where to go. She hides her face from the world, carrying the weight on her shoulders...This is how she feels, an endless struggle oh how she weeps." Jade sang and then Louis entered from the other end

"No more tears for you, I am here. I won't let that weight of the world crumble on you. You are a vision, someone like me can see your light. I see your beauty that I know you tried to hide. No one knows what you've been feeling but I know, I can try to help you mend. Look into my eyes my darling, you are not alone. Together we an get through this... Just trust me with all that you can." Louis sang

"Hold on my dear, close your eyes, just listen to me. No one around us exists, just you and me. I will stay by your side, you don't have to face it alone." Jade and Louis sang together.

"Fabulous! Well, I guess this is also Louis' audition as Craig." Mrs. Kelly cheered

"Now Scene 4, The Confrontation." Mrs. Kelly stated

"Craig, how did the people see the pictures?!" Jade shouted

"Cara, trust me, I didn't know Jason took my phone. Cara you are not going to go through this alone." Louis said as he held Jade's hands

"Let  go of me! You wanted to get back at me! Is it because I couldn't give what you want?" Jade said holding back tears

"Cara stop! I have loved you in all honesty, I have respected you. It was my foolishness for not deleting those pictures of us together that night. Cara, I know you think I took advantage of you, but believe me, I respected you even more."Louis said hugging Jade

"I don't need you Craig!" Jade screamed and ran away.

"Cut! Thank you Jade and Louis. Next! Ms. Leigh-Anne!" Mrs. Kelly screamed

"Okay, I think that's everyone. The cast will be posted tomorrow afternoon at the drama bulletin. Thank you everyone." Mrs. Kelly said at the end of the auditions

"I hope we get the leads." Louis whispered

"You and me both! This is going to be exciting!" Jade said

"Well you both kicked ass at the audition." Perrie responded making her friends smile

"In your dreams!" Chelsea muttered as she walked passed them

"Ignore her." Niall told Jade as she was about to say something

It was a rather intense competition for the lead roles but it was out of their hands now, all they could do was wait for the results and simply hope for the best.
